I read other reviews on the smell, honestly I don’t like the smell. It’s definitely good for massaging, although I got too carried away on my partner and he complained of back pain because I found the knots in his back and I hunkered down on them. I’d avoid doing that to your partner, mine nearly cried. I originally bought it for me since my partner said he’d do it for me but it didn’t convince him to give me back massages for when I’m in pain (have had issues with back for over 2 years). As the person massaging though, definitely recommend, keeps your hands slippery and oiled up without drying out.
