Lancaster Manual (New Ed): 1941 onwards (all marks) (Haynes Owner's Workshop Manual)

Found the book interesting so far it's the sort of book I dip in to rather than read cover to cover. Have learnt a few things about the "Lanc" I didn't know, as an retired aircraft engineer I probably looking for something different from most people. A copy of "Pilots notes" helps to get the most from the book. Bought to help me get through lockdown please I have it. Been to Coningsby Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, private tour of the Canadian Lancaster at Hamilton in the eighties. Need to visit East Kirkby to see number 3.

I was slow to buy this as there are so many books on the Lanc and I associate Haynes manuals with cars.However delighted with the purchase, especially the photos of the interior & Cutaway drawing etc. For any modeller especially useful particularly if one was interested in improving the detail. As a general reference it is a jolly good read. Highly recommended.
