this little press was easy to use and easy to clean. we had some difficulty using but not due to the machine, rather i feel the dough was not chilled enough or quite the right consistency. i've seen people say to use the recipe included for best results. we used my great grandmothers recipe so perhaps that is the difference. i had no issues with the machine itself and am glad i purchased it as it made our cookie trays really pop with the shaped cookies!

I was so excited to receive this, but it was a huge disappointment. I have never had to work so hard in my life to get maybe 10 cookies that looked nice. I followed all the instructions. I even did some extra things the previous reviewers suggested - no luck. It wouldn’t catch to press and most of the cookies were just mangled.

it is wonderful to use! i use mine for refrigerator cookies which recipe is in Joy of Cooking! it makes lots of designs Nd cookies come out perfectly!

I thought I was ordering an OXO product, which looks exactly the same. This brand does not pump cookie batter consistently. I had to return the expressed batter to the bowl about every 3rd attempt. If you fill it with batter, it will not pump the batter at all. I expect that the handle will soon break upon trying to force the batter. I should have been more careful about reading reviews and now feeling duped over the identical images. Returning.

We had great difficulty getting the dough to come out on the cookie sheet. Finally just started pressing the shape on the granite counter and transferring to cookie sheet.

Easy to use. Racheling doesn't always catch.

Save your money. This product is horrible. I followed a recipe to the letter that was in the book that came w it & the cookies r flavorless. The press itself doesn't operate properly. The quick release doesn't come ungaged. Only way I was able to get the dough out was to press on the top & wait till it clicked. Disappointed.

I actually bought this for my son who decided to make his own Christmas cookies this year. I have the same exact one, that's why I purchased a 2nd one. I have purchased and used many over the years, self press ones and battery operated ones. This one is the best I have ever used. The pump is easy to use, cleans like a dream by hand or in dishwasher (although, I do put the plastic parts on the top tray and the press discs wash great in the utensil basket). I would reccommed this to any cookie baker, experienced or not.
