Heating gel packs produces bad outcomes - they leak too soon after purchase
Reuseable about 5 times and then it leaked. I was dealing with surgical recovery and didn't bother trying to navigate a return or refund. I will not be buying this brand again. And I won't be buying a gel pack again. They seem to be prone to these problems when heated. I've switched to a clay pack instead and am having a much better experience.

Relax your aches and Pains with a Versa Pac
Just keep it in the freezer until you need it. Its great for any soreness and aches you are feeling. It soothes your aches away. I use for this parts of the body, back, groin area , legs and neck as needed. I actually have 3 of these. This way you can switch off. Sometimes I use 2 at a time. For any injury Ice it FIRST for 24-48hrs, 15-20 min's at a time several times a day. wrap it with a dish towel. Its an alternative to a heating pad. I only use it as a Ice Pac I don't heat it but you can.

It's cold, It works!
I only gave it 4/5 stars because I expected the outer covering to be more of a fabric-based. It is not. It is plastic. I had used one in PT (same brand name) that was cloth-covered and did not require anything to be wrapped around it. Because it keeps cold for an extended period of time (which is wonderful), you probably should use something between that and your skin. After being in the freezer the gel remains thick but always pliable, so you can wrap it around your injury.Because this was a little more expensive than the gel packs I've purchased from local stores I am hoping they will last longer. It claims to have less seams - allowing for a longer-life. I trust this is so.

Follow their directions!
We are using these for heat packs. BE AWARE: Follow the directions that instruct to put these in hot water to heat them...don't do what I did: I heated one in the microwave for several seconds and it caused a leak in the pack. This was my error, not the fault of the product. Lesson learned. When these are put in a bowl of hot water they absorb the heat and hold it well. Good product!

Constant companion
I was planning a flight during the Christmas holiday & knew that I wouldn't be allowed to bring my gel packs ( not allowed by TSA) so I had 2 Versa-Packs delivered to my destination & used them for the week I was away. Used them on my knee to get the inflammation down & they did a fine job. I left them at my host's home for her use & they will be there when I return again. I used them with the Ice Wraptor & the packs did the job

very nice. i keep this in the freezer in preparation ...
very nice. i keep this in the freezer in preparation of need. which usually occurs when I need to ice my ankle/calf after a run.I notice that it can get very very cold depending on where it is placed in the freezer. enough that frost will form on the surface of the pack. this is probably too cold for placing over the skin directly.the size is great for calf/ankle/shoulder. but probably a bit large if need to cold treat a fever.

Nice size but don't stay cold very long
These cold packs are nice size, 5"x10", but do not freeze cold enough to stay cold very long. They were still floppy after being in the freezer for 2 days. Lasted about 20 minutes before it needed to go back into the freezer.I've liked the Comfort Gel brand cold packs much better, they are stiff but flexible when cold and last almost 40 minutes.

Started leaking in about 2 weeks
Used it only for less than 10 times and then I found out it was leaking from one of the corners after seeing blue stains on clothes.
