has a power supply like a laptop computer, i.e. a "wall wart". In my humble opinion, save your money and get the newgy 1040 FOR ABOUT $300, although not remote control the Newgy is a far better unit. The V300 I purchased was defective and replaced by Joola; however, it is very inferior to the Newgy in what it can do.
