got this captain america helmet to wear while riding my vintage mini bikes around my neighborhood and it looks GREAT! i get alot of thumbs up and smiles from from neighbors and passing byers. very comfy and well made dot approved and does not look like a space helmet. size chart was spot on. shipping was on time and packaging was in perfect condition. would buy again but i dont think i will ever need too. very happy with my purchase!

Had to order 2xl for 7.5” hat size, so recommend 1 size up from your usual. Fits secure, and fastens well. Very nice finish and colors. Visor is a tight fit to helmet, but doesn’t move at all, once snapped on.Packed nicely, with cover, visor cleansing cloth, and rubber keychain. I’m an old Easy Rider fan, so this will be fun to wear on my blue Fury.

I was contemplating not ordering my usual XL but instead an XXL, because many previous buyers suggested the next size up. I should have listened to them. At first, the XL felt OK but after walking around with it for a few minutes it just felt too snug. So I returned it and ordered XXL. It fits perfectly. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars just to let the manufacturer know that their size charts are not correct.

I’ve been riding over 35 years and always wore a size large helmet. Large was too snug so order a size up. Like that its light and no “pumpkin” look on me....very cool helmet!

This helmet is the epitome of badass. It's very comfortable and even without a face shield, the wind noise is minimal. All you can really hear is the occasional caw from a bald eagle. I have such feeling of freedom and patriotism while riding, that I feel like our founding fathers are riding behind me, in my one-man Wolfpack. The size was a perfect fit for me. I would recommend it to everyone. God Bless America!

This helmet is great . love the Captain american theme . In the past i bought three different Daytona helmets Red ,Silver, and White and the qualty all have been the same .They dont wind whistle in your ears. They fit tight and dont rattle on you head. You dont look like a space alien with a bubble on your head. The Datona helmet is my pick for comfort and longevity. Many miles loged in side this helmet. Try it out

Another rater said that there is a foam pad at the back of it that is oversized and causes him discomfort, even headaches, and that it was too snug. I did notice that it takes some getting used to, at least for me, because I generally wore a 1/2 helmet. The helmet is lightweight and fits my big head pretty well, if very slightly snug.. What I like most about it is the style. Some remember Peter Fonda wearing one like this in "Easy Rider", but even my friends who don't normally wear helmets (a fashion statement on their part), or have never seen the movie, have complimented the style. I have also received lots of compliments from folks who don't ride, which tells me that they will notice a rider wearing one. Being seen and noticed by people in cars is ALWAYS a good thing. I can't give it five stars, however, as it can be improved. A DOT rating is fine, but perhaps with only a small increase in cost, it could be made to Snell standards. The buckle has no tie back for the excess strap, it would have to be cut to keep it from slapping you in the face in the wind. I fixed that with an elastic band. The aforementioned padding pushes the helmet down on my head a little, meaning that the oversized visor blocks your upper view, causing you to have to physically tilt your head to see traffic signals, instead of simply glancing up.

Visor will not snap on. Will arrange a return.

Yes, helmet is quality but the shizz has some weight to it.
