Only certain projects require this specialized hinge design but nothing else will do when this is what you need. Although the project I on which used this has not been in service long, so far they are holding up great. Installation was as expected; the more time you take on getting the mortise size & depth right, the better they look when it's done. Lastly, the chrome plating appears to be plenty thick to hold up long-term. That was a concern of mine before purchase, given the economical price.

After looking all over the internet and a few misses on size, these ended up being perfect for what I needed.So happy to find this on Amazon. Received quickly and great price.

This hinge worked wonderfully, however, it was a little long for my use.

Worked perfect as replacement part for drop leaf table.

Wondefully constructed, I wish they were constructed in miniature!!
