Great for children of all ages & even picky eaters!
So far my family and I have cooked 3 of these meals together and they enjoy them so far! Is true to the gluten free diet but also substitutes the nutrients you’re missing out on. Easy to get creative with the recipes if you have a picky eater on your hands.

Great book, easy recipes, more are very good tasting
This book is great and has easy recipes for a variety of meals and desserts. The flour mix is good but others work well also. I always have to modify it a bit with equal types of flours or starches, depending on what I am trying to make and what I still have in the house. A few recipes needs some adjustments, such as adding more moisture or more sugar (stevia), or just adding more flavor. Others were great as is. Overall a great book that I would recommend and also buy as a gift for others with gluten issues. Not just for kids :)

Forget just kids, this is great for anyone!
I have been so happy with this cookbook. Our family is new to GF eating and this book has made it so easy. The recipes are fun, easy and taste great. I have tried several of the recipes and have been happy with every single one. There are so so many more that I am excited to try. The book is written well, the photos are great. The kids have fun helping pick out our menu by looking through the book. This has become our daily go-to book for GF meals! There are recipes for everything...breakfast, lunch, snacks, dinner and treats. One thing to note is that I use an all purpose GF flour mix that already has xanthum gum included. There is a recipe in the book to make your own flour blend, which one day I will try, but for now am happy letting someone else do that for me!Some of our favorite recipes from the book so far are:WafflesApplesauce MuffinsJerk "Dino" StripsPorkie PacksMeat Loaf CupcakesSurfin' Salmon (patties tasted sooo good!)Cousin Arlene's Spaghetti Lasagna

LOVED this book!
I bought this book to send to my 10 year old great-niece, who was recently told she had to give up gluten. I mailed it to her earlier this month, and she called and did the obligatory "thank you, Aunt Lucy." I had so hoped she'd be excited to take charge of her new food choices. BUT--when I went to see her for Thanksgiving, she brought me the book, showed me her favorites, and told me exactly what she wanted to try. She was thrilled with "HER" cookbook. In fact, her 7 year old sister had thumbed through it, too--and she had even made her own choices. What I liked is that the recipes were for foods kids would actually want to eat--and they were made with ingredients you could find most anywhere. I give this book a big thumbs up!

Good photos to lure the young ones into GF food
Photos are bright and colorful. My son is a very picky eater and he has Celiac disease lose/lose....he did pick out several recipes from this book that I made with success. In particular the pizza recipe was a huge hit! It makes a "doughy" crust versus the crumbly crust of the frozen pizzas. The only downside to this book is that some of the recipes are slightly "adult" (like the salmon) and I can't see most kids eating that dish.

Wow. This book looks amazing. The recipes look simple and easy to make. Love the pictures as well! I am trying a gluten free diet on my 2 year old who is on the spectrum. Arrived sooner than expected.

I paid too much?!
Book is in good shape... but I don't recall that the description said anything about it being used... next time maybe remove the .99 Goodwill sticker ;)

Maybe if your kids eat "adult food".
I hate to say "adult food" because kids really should eat like their parents, eat healthy and eat lots of different things. Unfortunately my son is SUPER picky. I bought this cook book because my son has autism and it has been recommend to me to TRY the gluten free thing. My son is not going to eat over half of these recipes. This is good for kiddos who aren't picky, but not for us. I WISH he eat stuff like this though! I read one of the most recent reviews and they where also not impressed with the "cowboys in the saddle" steak laying over a potato wedge. I see that the people who made this book where trying really hard to come up with clever ideas, but it was a pretty lame idea. Im just going to resort to Google to see if I can find some breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack ideas there.
