The look of this is very sleek, sturdy and nice. Control panel is easy to see.Remote is very handy since I set it where it's hard to reach from my desk.But, the remote somehow does not respond to my request.Once it's on (middle button), you select low or high power and + or - for desired temp. Button below is for the timer, then the button below is for oscillation.High power (H2) works great, but H1 (low) just blows air and not much heat, so I keep it at H2.Temp control seems to work and you can go as low as 60 (in winter, this feels like a good cooler).If you increase it to 80, then you'll feel the nice and warm air.Oscillation and timer work good, tilt proof, they are all good.The only problem I have with mine is to "turn it off". With the remote, I keep pressing the on/off switch but it just changes the mode (H1, H2, Lo), and does not turn off. I keep pressing down and it'll turn off once in a while, but it's not every time.Also by pressing the on/off button on the main body, it changes the mode (H1, H2, Lo), and does not turn off... When I keep pressing down, then after a several seconds, it'll be off. So, this might just be my luck, and yours might work, I'm not sure.So, to make it easy, I just set the timer as soon as I turn it on (for the length of time that I expect to be there), then it'll turn off for sure (tested).Overall since it looks good and blows good warm air, I'll keep using this.

It's winter time so I've been reviewing several space heaters. This particular one has all of the basic features you would expect from a mid-sized unit, such as the ability to 1) oscillate, 2) set a timer, 3) remote control, and 4) set temperature on a thermostat. I mention these four features because smaller-sized units do not come with these features but are sold at about the same price point as this mid-sized unit. Thus, I would rate this unit as having a high "features to price" value. It also has basic features such as the tip-over protection that's required by law, and a basic handle (hole) in the back for carrying purposes.With that said, this unit is somewhat unremarkable, but serves its basic purpose of heating a space when set to the "high" heat setting. The lower heat setting doesn't give off much heat for me.I didn't find the sound of the fans (comes with two fans) to be noisier than my other space heaters, so about the same when compared to others.There are mid-sized units that can tilt upwards. If you are looking for that tilting feature, you should look elsewhere for a different unit.Overall, this unit does the job of heating a space just fine. No complaints.

It's a nice heater it oscillates it has a temperature setting which seems to work very well The remote is a little touchy and getting the thing to turn off took some understanding but it will warm up a decently sized room in a short enough amount of time obvious concern would be if it tips over how quickly does it turn off how hot does the front get in the front doesn't get too hot it's not going to burn anything if it was to tip over and it will immediately shut off completely if it tips over you stand it back up you have to power it back on so it's a decent set of safety features paired with a decently sized space heater that will warm up small to medium sized room and about 20 minutes

My old heater was starting to go so I decided to pick this one up and I am so glad I did.This is very easy to control. When you turn it on, it will show you the current temperature and then you can set what temperature you want the air to come out as. (You don't set necessarily for what temperature you want it to reach, you set it for how warm you want the air blowing at you to be.. at least that is what I do). It has a remote so you can control oscillation and/or lock it in place when you find the perfect spot.I am trying to stay warm in a corner of our place that is out of the range of the all the heating vents, so it is about 10 degrees cooler in this corner than the rest of the place in the winter. This can warm it up several degrees in about 10 minutes, then I can hit the remote and shut it off for a while, and then easily turn it back on when the temp drops back down.It is a nice size at 18 inches, so it provides a good amount of warm air headed in your direction.Great heater!

Our house is an older one, and the dispersion of heat/cold is not all that balanced. We have some rooms, such as our bedroom, that stay noticably colder in the winter months. Our last spaceheater died, so we decide to try out this one.We have not had to go above High 1 setting (there is Low, H1, and H2); and that was on our coldest nights. Most of the time, low is sufficient to make the room comfortable. The thermostat settings work well at maintaining th etemperature, adn the safety features give an additional peace of mind.The remote is very handy allowing for power on/off; setting the power level as well as the thermostat temps; and activating oscillation mode. Keeping it on the nightstand means no more getting out from the covers to adjust the heater. Very nice.Very please with this little heater; woudl gladly buy again.

Something was rattling inside. Would turn on and shut off immediately. Did not work at all!!
