I wish I knew about this sooner. It’s so easy to lock and unlock the folding door. Operates from both sides of the door. Installation is easy. No tools. No mess. No glue. I bought the white which matches perfectly with the door.

Best bi folding lock I've used. So easy to slide from either side to open and close. Nothing to unscrew to open as some cheaper plastic ones have been. These are metal. Cats definitely can not open the doors underneath now.

A simple solution that works well. They keep my 110 lb dog from pushing open our bi-fold doors.

Overall, this will do what you want. It's sturdy, made of metal so it won't crack like plastic, and works well with doors that are 1 1/8 - 1 1/4 inches wide. The Amazon ad and the instructions themselves mention an "insert" you can use for thinner doors. I bought three of these and none came with any insert. I had to fashion my own out of high-density foam. Overall, a good product, but lost a star over the missing inserts.

I LOVE these door locks! My toddlers are no longer able to access the closets and toss everything out on the floor. Best invention ever!
