So I am giving this harness 5 because it is extremely well made and feels like it would last a few years!!! I am very impressed by the quality and would have kept this item, if I hadn't had an overly "fat" cat at the moment. I was purchasing this for my currently overweight esa cat. We are sadly BOTH overweight from the quarantines imposed on us during covid19 and trying to begin our daily walks again, but first need to find a new harness that I feel safe to take him in. My cat has approximately an 8"-9" neck circumference depending on where u measure, 14" right being his arms and 17" belly area. I had hoped this one was going to fit, but as I tried it on... I noticed I was not quite able to shrink the neck-size down QUITE small enough, so if I was able to size it down about another 1/2 inch, I wouldn't kept this. The belly area was snug, but not OVERLY snug so I figured we would both lose weight and it would fit him right. However, the neck is not going to change. Unfortunately, my cat is 13.5-14 lbs, with a big body and small head (LOL). Very cute though ;) If they made this vest in an xxs, we would be game! I just have a very oddly shaped feline. Do NOT turn this vest away though! Wow, its so impressive! The wear-stitching is very tightly sewn and the patches appear to be of rubber quality, making them more resistant to fading, etc. Honestly, I knew I was personally taking a big chance when I ordered this vest, but sizing appears to be dead on from what I can tell. Cats just fit strangely different than dogs do. Sometimes, you just need to operate on luck and try a few out. I would DEFINITELY try this vest out again for a different cat because mine just has a big belly and small head and I want to be able to leave him 1-finger space between him and his vest since he has to wear his quite regularly. I would have easily stitched the neck strap 1/2 inch smaller if that was my cat's only issue because I reeeeeeally like it. But even if I stitch that smaller, I'm left with a dilemma on whether or not the belly is too tight to make it comfortable for him until he loses some belly fat.... but again, that is OUR mistake, NOT this vest company's! Therefore, this vest definitely deserves 5 stars so I am leaving this review despite needing to return it. Very well made, very sturdy, made to last & interchangeable patches too! On top of that, the material is also breathable. This vest is the "bees knees" so try atleast give it a shot.

Good quality, well made, 2 different velcro patches, one says service dog and the other emotional support. Made with your average nylon strapping and the clips are oversized and easy to use! There is both a ring for the leash and a handle to pick dog up. You have a few choices of colors to choose from and size shouldn't be an issue, unless you are trying to harness a horse! There is a video to show the best way to wear on your dog and how to adjust to fit. I love it and my min pin loves it too!

I have a 13.5 lb. Shia Tzu and ordered the XS. It was almost too large, but pulling all straps to their tightest length, it fit perfectly. But if in doubt, I’d probably size down. It covers the body & shows as pictured well, the color is a good red, the SERVICE DOG labels appear to be leather & fit the VEST perfectly (not too long, etc.). The vest is new, but my dog seems to be comfortable in it. I appreciate the quality width of the straps & strong, large buckles. I only plan to use it when I take her somewhere. Long term use isn’t an issue for me. The reflective stitching appears gray depending on where the light hits it & not cheaply sewn. My very small complaint is that it’s labeled a harness when it clearly is not. I can’t attest to a dog’s ability to escape from it or not as my dog is well trained & calm. It doesn’t appear a dog could if the straps are snugly fit. It doesn’t slip and slide around chest. & works well. I’m extremely impressed w it’s control safety, & recommend it to all!

I have an 11 pound Yorkipoo. It fits well (XS), the buckles are a bit big, Adjustment is super easy , it has emotional support or service dog velcro pieces (you can pick and attach yourself). I got the purple one and it’s a cute color not overwhelming or neon. My dog will not slip out of it , it’s safe and comfortable for her. Definitely has a plastic smell to it and it left a scent on my dog. Other than that the quality is great! I would recommend

Bought this for my 40 lb pit, who is a much stronger than she looks and is a very stubborn puller when walking, so collars just aren't safe for her. She is also an accomplished chewer, so harnesses with thin straps that don't stretch and fit snug are destroyed in minutes. I ordered this harness, and was uneasy with the low price but took the chance bc the pictures seemed to show what I was looking for. When I opened the package I was impressed with the vibrant color and durable materials it was made of. Then I gritted my teeth and began the arduous task of getting it on her, a game I've had to play too many times already. I was amazed how easy it was to put on my bouncy, high energy girl. EVERY harness I've ever tried to put on any dog was like trying to solve a trigonometry problem missing half the info. So, impossible. Not this harness, it's made for people like me who can't figure out front from back, which strap goes where and what doggy part goes in which way. This one is simple. Lay the body of the harness across doggo's back, the shorter strap goes around the neck, click it, the longer strap goes around the chest, click it. Adjust as needed. Done. So now she is safe and secure on our walks, and totally adorable. The only negative, and what kept this from being a 5 star review is that the service dog/emotional support patches that come with it did not last a month. They stayed attached very well, but the lettering wore off quickly, which makes the patches pointless. But even without the patches I will buy this same harness again when need be. She is also a tough fit, her measurements are wonky bc of her large chest, so I ordered a small for her and it fit her great. Word of warning: dont just order the size of harness your dog usually wears, do the measurements and order according to that. In other harnesses I had to get her a large or extra large, so seeing that her dimensions called for a size small and that really threw me but I'm glad I trusted their sizing chart bc it was spot on. That was my experience anyway. I just ordered another one in orange bc it will look striking with her chocolate brown fur.

( I’m only giving it a 3 star bc it’s very cute & seems very well made! I like the customization too. But idk if the one I received for my very small Yorkie Lola is was sized wrong idk but it’s absolutely huge! I ordered an XS & the tag inside says XS but there’s no way this is an XS I adjusted every single strap as tight as it would go, still this thing is extremely oversized. I am very disappointed bc again I love the colors, style, customization abilities & the quality but what good is all of that if it falls off my dog :( I’m tempted to order the XXS but one size smaller would still be to large for her
