Good quality, interesting game
The game and its pieces are all very good quality. Have not played the game yet as waiting for christmas celebrations but having read the instructions it seems very interesting and should keep us occupied

Great game
I felt that the game was good and we had fun but not as engaging as I had hoped. We played with two players and I’m thinking it might be more fun with four players we will testit on next family game night. The game seems sturdy and well made. It is a fast-paced adventure that requires strategic thinking. I feel it was quite expensive but worth the money.

a bit of fun
It's a fast-paced and strategic game that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The game is set in a sinking city, and players must race against time to gather supplies, build rafts, and escape the city before it's too late. Along the way, players will have to deal with challenges such as rising water levels, dangerous creatures, and other players who are trying to sabotage them. The game is well-made and the components are high quality. The game board is large and detailed, and the cards and tokens are all well-designed. The game is also easy to learn, but difficult to master. However, I do have a few minor complaints about the game. First, the game can be a bit long, especially if you're playing with a large group. Second, the game can be a bit difficult to balance, especially if some players are more experienced than others.

Well presented, fun game
The game is very well made. The pieces are all durable feeling wood or card which I much prefer to plastic. The print is high quality and the box is sturdy. Survived a couple of long train journeys so far. It's a fun game for a small group. Takes a bit longer to learn than something like Monopoly, but isn't the most complex.13+ seems appropriate, as I think younger kids may find it confusing. They could probably get the hang of it, but would likely get bored before that happened.

Best suited to 3-4 players. Good strategy game.
It seemed like it would be complicated and confusing when you first read the rules, but once you play its actually really simple and fun to play. The idea is to get your counter from one side of the board to the other, while collecting power packs, to escape the sinking city on a helipad. The route is blocked by water, and the only way to get across is to build items such as ziplines and bridges and move across them. On your turn you roll 4 dice, you choose 2 of the 4 outcomes to determine what you do - you can move, scavenge for materials, craft those materials into items such as bridges, or you can add more water to the board. Adding water can block other players routes to hinder their movement. The instruction cards are really helpful to have whilst playing to remind you of what different symbols mean when you first play the game.We found 3-4 players was the best number of people to play with, 7 players seemed to take too long but maybe playing in teams would have been better.Overall, a really enjoyable strategy game.Thank you for reading my review, I hope you found it helpful.

Better for a group
This game uses a clever idea - players have to cross the progressively flooding city to be rescued by helicopter. Everything in the set is paper, card or wood so it is plastic free. It’s always a bit of a challenge learning a new game and this one seems a bit more complicated than most, with some quite complicated rules about what you get from rolling the dice, for example. That said, it is possible to follow the rules and I imagine it would become more of a free-flowing game as players become more familiar with it.It’s partly strategy and partly luck; that gives the game a lot of potential variety and interest for repeated plays. However, that can also be frustrating if your carefully executed strategy is undermined by a run of bad luck with the dice. It’s also better as a strategy game with more than two players. Although it is playable with two, this makes for quite a slow game and the head-to-head play has rather limited scope for the full strategy element and with the board relatively empty, it’s easy for each player to avoid the other’s traps. Playing with four makes for a much more exciting and unpredictable experience.Note too that the narrative of the game is a bit anxiety-inducing, so this isn’t one for younger children.

Brilliant Game
This game is absolutely brilliant, and I really enjoyed playing it with my friends at our weekly games night. It was very easy to set up, easy to understand the gameplay and the rules and of course the best part is that we had an absolute blast while playing it. It’s a lot of fun! I like the design and style of the game and it’s very durable and strong so it will last a long time and we can reuse it again in the future. I look forward to getting it out again at Christmas! I feel this game is very giftable and would make a fantastic present for someone or as a family gift. We didn’t have any issues or problems with playing it and the gameplay was really engaging so I happily recommend it. I feel it’s very good value for money and it gets a huge thumbs up from us.

"Get To The Choppa!" - Enjoyable Board Game Where Flooding Makes Things Frantic
I found this to be a slightly complex game to initially get my head around, and my younger child struggled. The instructions are good but I did have to re-read them a few times and have them close when playing. However once you know what you are doing this is good fun. Everything feels well made and I like that the dice are wooden, rather than plastic for two reasons. One, less plastic is a good thing and two... wood floats. The gameplay basically involves escaping to the helipad on the opposite side of the board, but first you must collect some power packs. All the while the board may start to "flood", limiting your access, and monsters may appear. With four dice, players choose two out of the four outcomes on a roll which gives a decent level of variable to what you want to do. When your way is blocked and water is present, scavenging items to make ziplines or bridges introduces further new tactics. The use of LA as the setting is cool and I would have loved maybe a different city on the reverse of the board - say maybe New York or London - with a different layout to help add extra variety. As it is, this is a good fun multiplayer game for the older gamer.
