Good quality, better than the expanding rubber type, however I ordered wrong size, present for lads sports, my fault, haven't recorded as getting expensive with delivery and return delivery charges, will pick one up from bike shop when visiting.

Picked this up after owning the ram mount yoke mount. My ram mount stopped being a snug fit after removing a few times had stopped the rubber from being a tight fit.The fact this uses metal should hopefully mean it lasts longer.

my old satnav is now enjoying a new life on the Honda VFR, whizzing along, stable and visible through the visor, used along with a RAM extender and 25mm to 17mm ball adapter.

The socket is too lose to connect to the Garmin cradle socket. Go for the proper way - which is a Zumo mounting kit and the associated RAM mounts. More expensive but the proper way to do it.

Nothing else to say, forget about the stem mount from RAM (has to be trimmed to size and doesn't work). No cutting here, it locks in place in seconds and is easy to remove.
