Good Sturdy Clamp Rated at 1,100 lbs!
Like the other reviewer, I am using these clamps on my wakeboard tower on my boat. I plan on using them to build a ski boom to the side of my boat for amateur(kids) skiers and wakeboarders to learn. I love that these are aluminum (won't rust) and very heavy duty rated at 1,100 lbs. each.FYI for a more accurate description, the securing bolt with the wingnut is a 1/2" bolt. The attachment bolt (black) is not fixed in the housing but is a flat head bolt with a hex "slot." It is a 3/8" diameter bolt. It sticks out from the aluminum clamp by 3/4".I also attached a picture of the black bolt.

Good, solid clamps
Good, solid clamps. Fit onto 1 1/2 inch ID aluminum or galvanized pipe. I use one to mount a heavy laser and also several more for various uses on my off road Jeep. I replaced the wingnuts with knurled JW Winco Steel 12L14 Tapped Nut without Dowel Pin Hole, Knurled, Threaded Hole, M12 x 1.75 Thread Size x 16mm Thread Depth, 40mm Head Diameter - because I hate wing nuts - but they will work fine as-is.

Hefty industrial pipe hanger clamp - does the job!
I wish the bolt was stainless as I'm actually using it as an anchor storage mount on a boat, but as long as I keep XCorrosion on the bolt, I think it will do well. It's a pretty hefty clamp, I must say. Does the job so well that I had to order one for my neighbor for his boat too :)

Phase out you old clamps. These are the best! I really prefer these. Too bad I need so many of them. The only issue I have is that they do not stay on the pipe just by gravity. You have to get that screw in place. It is not hard, but it takes two hands. The best part is that this will not crush a hanging pipe.

Almost all aluminum. The bolts that hold the two halves together are iron, so they are completely rusted. All the rest of the pieces are aluminum or stainless steel and look great. They need to get rid of the iron parts.

Good if you just need something quick
Simple effective clamp. Good if you just need something quick, wouldn't hang anything bigger then a small mover on it though.
