Love it!
Steaks are incredibly juicy with this lid! The steam circulation makes them tender and delicious. Plus, it keeps kitchen clean by preventing oil splatters.

I measured wrong
The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately I won't be able to use this lid because I didn't measure my pot properly. It looks well made. The handle looks detachable, but I'm not sure why you would want to...? It says you could stir your food without removing the lid, but I don't see how since the hole is only 2 in across. My smallest cooking spoon measures 2 1/2 inches at the widest point. I do see how it could be useful for adding spices though, but I'd still have to remove the lid to stir it. Even if it did fit my pot, I don't think I'd be able to use it how I intended.

Ingenious lid design and quality!
The droplet collection feature is genius! Keeps my food perfectly flavorful without any water dripping onto it. Such a thoughtful addition to this lid.

Clever
It's just as clever as it looks. It's good as a splatter guard for cooking bacon and you don't get splashed with hot oil from condensation when removing the lid. It's kind of heavy though. Also you can't use just any utensils. You have to finagle it by putting the handle up through the bottom if you want to stir with a big spoon. I used a slim silicone spatula to go through the top. The handle is clipped on and it looks removable buy I haven't tried too hard to take it off. I'm not sure why you'd want to. Also because of the high dome I store it upside down in a big pot because ot won't fit with my other lids.

Functional because it is clear
We've been cooking with metal lids for years, with no complaints. Except one: You cannot see through the metal to see whether someone left food in the pan and forgot to put it away. Sadly, this has meant that leftovers have regrettably gone to the compost bin instead of into the fridge, where they belong. With each person assuming that the other person had already put the leftovers from the pan in the refrigerator, we have lost many opportunities for tasty leftovers. And rather than blame any human culprit, we blame the dang opaque metal lids. When I saw this clear glass lid, I thought I'd give it a try. I wasn't sure about the hole in the top, but without it steam would obscure the view of the food a bit; so a hole? Okay. But, using the hole to add spices or for stirring? I'm not so sure about that. What's wrong with removing a lid to do those basic cooking tasks? Our pans are actually about a inch too small for the groove of the lid to sit perfectly around the edge of the pan. Yet, surprisingly the lid still fits secure enough, and resists my tests to see if it might accidentally be knocked off. So far, so good. The glass lid seems very well made, and the glass seems particularly heavy and durable. The water catch on the inside rim seems like another nice feature that we won't really be using much (unless I add too much water to my pasta sauce again and need an easy way to remove some excess moisture). We've only been using it for a week, but I am happy to report that no cooking leftovers have gone into the compost bin since getting this nice glass lid.

Outstanding! Would give it 6 stars if we could.
We got this lid to help with cooking splatter, especially when frying foods. This lid really works. We love the practical design. There is a vent at the top to allow steam out and has a large comfortable handle for easy manipulation over a hot pan. The lid is transparent so you can easily observe the food. It has a very cleaver rim at the bottom that contains the condensation water until it re-evaporates. This lid works extremely well at preventing splatter and containing and releasing the steam and water condensate while cooking. This one fit our Tfal 11" pan perfectly.

Is a bit heavy to use in the microwave!
When I use it to cover food in the microwave the food does heat up evenly. I like this glass lid a lot for microwave use but is a bit too heavy. Also, the handle can get hot enough that you need a pot holder to pick it up. It is easy to wash after it has cool down.
