New to me author
Itās so weird Iām flagging this as a new to me author because Iāve been following this author for some time now and basically just read her book now.I must say, as intros to work go I was not disappointed! This is a really good read, lots of emotions around what is still a very sensitive topic. How is love a sensitive topic? Because people are complicated and unfortunately what they donāt understand they automatically flag as wrong.I enjoyed reading this book.

Yes to unconventional love!
I have been waiting to read this book since I finished HEART TRICK. I love the premise of an FFM romance and Kristen does a great job of bringing the relationship to the story and not just the spice. There was the danger that the spice could have taken over and it turned into more er0tica but this story has depth in the relationships. We see the bonds between Kourtney, Celeste, and Jason and how they grow stronger and deeper. This is a story of childhood friends-to-lovers who get their second chance together as a throuple. Jason is a member of the Goldfinches Hockey team and Celeste works in PR with Kourtney feeling a little lost not really knowing what she wants in life. With the support of Celeste and Jason, she realises her dream of a unique dating site. There is also good representation in this book with a transwoman side character, who I hope gets her own story. The subject matter tackled, with challenging old-school family values from Kourtneyās parents, are ones a lot of people worried about living their truth that may seem unconventional would also be fearful of. I felt this wasnāt all chocolates and flowers but an authentic take on how scary it might be for some to be open about how they want to live their lives. There are raw feelings and real situations these characters have to live through, and I appreciated how Kristen wrote it. Once again, Kristen doles out the life lessons. Now I donāt want to miss an opportunity to talk about the delicious spice too. It wasnāt over-s*xualized, but it sure was s*xy. Breaking the stereotypical MMF or MFM throuples, the FFM spice was refreshing and certainly got the blood pumping. So if you are looking for a story with heart and spice, relationships and love, grab ODD MAN RUSH.

Loved it
I fell in love with Kristen's writing when I first started reading more last year. Bring Me Back and Someone You Love are faves of mine.It did not dissapoint, I haven't done any FFM before but let me tell you it was spicy! But also the message and the LGBTQ+ rep she protrayed was so well done and so important. I actually had a tear in my eye near the end.Jason, Celeste and Kourtney have been friends for years, the 3 of them were inseparable. Jason and Kourtney were in a relationship when they were younger but had to end it due to long distance. In College, Kourtney and Celeste ended up getting together for 4 years. I loved how we got the back story of this too. But there was always something holding Kourtney back, she struggled to come out to her parents as she worried they wouldn't accept her due to their religious beliefs. This put a strain on her relationship with Celeste and when Celeste got a job offer and moved away she didn't go with her.Jason and Kourtney reconnected and end up married and 6 years later Celeste is back in their life's. There is a lot of history there and it's not long before they want to explore the connection the 3 of them have and when Celeste has to move out of her apartment and move in with them for 3 weeks things start to happen.I loved how strong Kourtney was at the end when she realised she didn't want to live a lie anymore and to everyone else's perception of "normal". After all love is love.So many important topics were covered throughout this book, what a powerful message Kristen has portrayed as well as it being spicy as hell! It had it all spice, banter and a powerful LQBTQ+ rep.Defo recommmed picking this up! You can read the Heat Trick Novella before but it's not needed.āļøāļøāļøāļø.5/5

Loved It. Fantastic Book.
Kourtney, Jason and Celeste have known each other since high school. Kourtney ended her relationship with Jason, not believing long distance would work when were headed off to college. Celeste has always been her best friend, and for those college years, their relationship was more than friendship.Jason, now a big hockey star, and Kourtney reconnect in the most unexpected of ways and Celeste finds herself back in their lives when sheās the PR agent of the Goldfinches new transfer. With their friendship back where itās meant to be they then have to deal with an added complication when feelings start to grow stronger. Can they break societal norms and accept these new feelings? Will the world and the people closest accept them? This is another fantastic book by Kristen Granata. As soon as this ARC was sent I dropped everything and read it in one sitting. She wrote the characters so well. I loved the differences between Celeste and Kourtney and you can fully feel the internal conflict as you read. The addition of Erikas character was brilliant and I really hope we see more of her in future books.

Love it!
The spice is amazing š¶ļøš¶ļøš¶ļø . The details š Celeste is my favorite character. She's so genuine and sassy. Jason is a sweetheart. Cortney is a little too much for me sometimes but I love the way the author makes this character grow. This was a really good read, I couldn't put it down. Finished in 2 days.

obsessed with their love story.
āThe only limits on our hearts are the ones we put there.āThis is my first FFM read and I fell completely in love with the concept. Kourtney deals with a lot of things throughout this read but the main one is that her heart calls out for two people.Throughout the beginning we are given a rundown of how their relationship worked in the past. Kourtney was in love with Jason but when he leaves to play hockey, she doesnāt think they will survive the distance.ā Iāve always been yours, little mouse.āShe goes off to college with her best friend Celeste and they are given the opportunity to explore the attraction between them. They are torn apart with similar reasons and they lose touch. It isnāt until 5 years later, they are reunited and it is discovered that Kourtney reconnected with Jason and they are married. When their is an issue where Celeste has to find a place, this leads her to staying with the happy couple and they have time to confront their feelings and explore that attraction they feel.āThatās how it is between usāIāll always catch Kourtney when she falls, and Jason will always make sure we get to the ground safely.āI loved their story and how hard they fought for their happiness. The deck is stacked against them but the way they fight for it (and their friends) left me speechless.āLove is the connection, not the gender.āKristenās stories are filled with heart felt moments, playful banter and boy did she bring the SPICE to this read. I canāt wait to see what comes next.

unbedingt Lesen
Es gibt kaum Bücher mit FFM, die nicht Porn sind. Dieses ist eine gelungene Ausnahme. Bitte mehr davon! Gratulation an die Autorin, ich werde definitiv mehr von ihren Büchern lesen.

better than i expected - very spicy
Okay, this book was SO different than anything Iāve read before. Itās FFM, which I knew going into it, I wasnāt prepared for the hockey trope, but I love hockey romance so I wasnāt mad. It is HELLA spicy. Overall, as a book the story was good, there are some elements of it that just had me literally dropping my jaw, but the creativity of the storyline is good and it was honestly all over the place that I wasnāt guessing what was going to happen. If you want a hot read, this ones for you.

Spiciest book from Kristen
Odd Man Rush is the spieciest book Kristen Granata has written! My favorite character was Celeste, I loved how supportive she was even if she was living witnessing the love of her life being married to someone elseā¦I loved the relationship between Kourtney, Jason and Celeste. At first I was scared it was more Kourtney and Celeste being in love with each other, and Kourtney being in love with both Jason and Celeste, but I loved how Jason and Celeste were such good friends at the beginning and then came to love each other too so strongly. Their growing feelings was something I loved the mostš„°.I loved the support they received from all the members of the team and all their friends. And sadly there was the sad part too where it was shown (like in real life) how not everyone supported the trio, but at the end, LOVE IS LOVEā¤ļøSo thank you Kristen for this Arc. Like always you wrote an amazing bookā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøāļøāļøāļøāļø/5
