I am a beekeeper of 37 years standing. My 3 significant mentors when learning all swore by propolis. Chipped from the hive and placed in the mouth can turn your teeth temporarily yellow! We have used this brand for many years and have found them very effective for treating a variety of minor infections including a painful tooth abcess which was resolved before I could even contact my dentist. I got a really nasty horse fly bite on Monday which caused a hot red swollen patch the size of my hand by evening. I took 4 capsules straight away and applied a cold compress. By the next morning the swelling had stabilised so I continued with further doses plus cool packs. By Wednesday morning the infection was gone and I was only left with a red bump. On checking the best before date I discovered they were 18 months out of date so I have just bought a fresh supply. I would definitely recommend this brand as a vital part of anyones first aid kit.

Been taking these capsules for a few months now in preparation for the cold and flu season, so I am hoping both me and my partner will not suffer like we have last year, unfortunately as any propolis based products seem to help, they say. If you read too much about them, you will find some saying there's no real scientific evidence, but I doubt that. Bees use propolis for disinfecting their hive so they must be doing something right, why shouldn't we try too :-). We also have a propolis cream and every time you have some small, external skin blemish and apply it, the infection seems to go away in a matter of days so I am hoping these capsules will help 'in the inside' too.
