There was a time when these CP250 marked canisters actually contained 250gm of gas - today, like all other similarly sized/fitting canisters of this type, it's nearly always just 227gms.Butane burns at a higher temperature than propane, but doesn't work so well in very low temperatures. Propane burns better at very low temperatures, but doesn't burn so hot. This Campingaz by Calor is an Iso mix that seems to offer the best of both worlds. It's what you'd expect from such a well-known leading/respected brand, as too is the safety applied in manufacture especially if you're carrying these in your back-pack or using these in an enclosed space to power your camping stove or heater (caravan, RV, tent - with adequate ventilation of course!).That burn-ability/usability in cold weather and brand assurance of these being made as safe as is reasonably possible is reflected in the higher price: I'm happy to pay a small premium for that peace of mind.

I have bought similar gas canisters,but these seemed to.last a lot longer.I have two small camping heaters,and I had them on max setting for over four hours.The canisters also arrived a lot earlier than stated,which was good news,as my central heating had packed in.

These are very good and use them in camping stoves all the time.
