Works fine
I mounted this in my camper. This orientation worked best for my needs

WORKS WELL
I installed this at the helm station on my boat a little over a year ago and it it is still performing well with zero issues. I will most likely order a second one to install on the flybridge.Only issue I ran into on this item is there is very little margin for error when cutting out hole hole to install it. I suggest you use a drill on the four corners and then cut the straight lines. The drill will allow you to leave enough meat to secure the base to it's platform.

Switches and plugs and stuff
This thing seemed perfect for the RV. There even was a place in my RV to put it that looks like it was made for this thing. So I bought it, and then waited like 4 months to install it. I read a bunch of stuff in reviews about how it was hard to install and sometimes it didn't work, and people were saying that it was a rip off. The thing was like $16 or something. Who cares if it doesn't work. If you need this thing, you can probably afford it in your budget. Anyway, I didn't have any of those problems. I read the instructions. And then I installed it. It didn't work. So I moved the wires around. Then it worked. It still does. I am happy. People who write these reviews are idiots. Don't they have anything better to do than punch out endless dribble on their devices? What a waste of time. Just use the stuff you buy on Amazon instead.

Works exactly like you'd expect, easy to install
I bought and installed this to add some utility ports to our 2016 16' Scamp trailer. We had a factory added 12v plug, but it was in a very awkward place I added this so we could charge 2 phones/tablets or run a small inverter to charge a laptop. I also wanted a voltmeter to replace my plug-in one, and an on/off switch for long term storage.Item arrived quickly and well packaged. There were no instructions, just the panel, the mounting plate, 4 screws, and 9 female spades connectors.I wired everything up according to the diagram (which agrees with common sense) so that the switch comes first, thus allowing me to kill all the other ports with one click.20 minutes of careful marking in the camper and some hole sawing later, the panel was mounted and ready to go. I put it right next to an existing 12V line that was trivial to splice into.We are taking a trip next weekend and I will update this with more information if there are any problems. For now, I couldn't be more pleased.

Nice product. Some handiness and skill to install nicely. Wiring must be done by installer.
A nice product requiring some skill and handiness to install in a bulkhead wall. You msut make a very accurate paper template for the hole cutout you will put into the wall. If you cut a little too big, the panel will not fit correctly using the 4 screws. You also have to buy some hookup wire (I recommend 16AWG stranded) to wire it together. Follow the circuit diagram supplied on the pictures. You may also choose to only have the main power switch turn on the voltmeter, and leave the 12 volt accessory port and USB ports on full time. I measured the actual milliamps under NO LOAD condition, The power being used by the power lamp, voltmeter, and USB sockets was only 50 milliamps. I chose to connect all three to the main switch so when I charge items using USB, the voltmeter will light up as well. Minimal drain on my RV battery bank ( two 6 volt golf cart batteries, 150 watt solar charge panel).

Needs a set of instructions or a diagram
Needs a set of instructions or a diagramWhile I was able to figure it out, there should have been at least instructions with the switch... I could not find + or - indicators on the switch anywhere...a bit frustrating. The Light is a tab bright, thinking of taking the blue light switch off, and replacing with a non lighted switch. This is going to be used in the RV to check the health of the battery when boondocking as well as charging phones (etc).wired this up to a spare battery at home, and left it on overnight... man is it bright. Kept the GF up and said can I move that or turn it off....Oh well, the product works well, needs instructions for the switch, Overall, im happy with the purchase for the price.

Nice Unit For The Price
Great compact unit. So far so good. The instructions do not make the wiring clear but the picture on Amazon and answers to questions clarify the correct wiring. Middle silver power in (from battery), end silver power out (+) to (+) on each accessory, bronze ground (-) to (-). I initially bought 12 gauge wire but it was too large for the connectors. I ended up getting 16 gauge and it worked find. I also initially used splitters (picture 4) for the 2-1 connections but was only getting 8 volts. I scrapped that idea and went with both wires in one female connector (picture 2) and the voltage jumped to 13.1 (picture 1). I did not like the connectors that came with the unit (picture 5) so I bought new ones (picture 6). On off switch controls the entire unit with this install configuration.

Truck camper
Installed this in my truck camper, as I needed USB charging capabilities. and it works great for that. I also like the digital volt meter ( much more accurate than the LED indicator lights on my battery control centre). Plus having a 12 VDC outlet is a great feature for charging my laptop or camera batteries ( I plug in a 12 volt inverter to this outlet). The only negative is the face of the unit could be a bit larger, when you install this you have very little material left to cover the holes needed for the components to go through a cabinet or dash. So be diligent when making your opening into what ever you are installing it.

received it on time
works good. only complaint is the hole you have to cut isn't much smaller than the cover. larger base plate would be nicer to give you more coverage and give you more backing to install your cover screws into for a nicer fit and finish
