Very fun to assemble.
Our elves of the shelf got this for Christmas for the kids who enjoyed putting them together. It was cool that there were several different types of engines to keep the assembly interesting.

Enjoyable to make with quality parts
These kits are enjoyable to complete in an afternoon or evening with each kit having less than 80 parts each.The parts are high quality, easily snap together, and stay together. The latter is important because you sometimes have to use a little pressure or wiggle two parts together, and you don't want the previous parts to come apart.The instructions are mostly easy to follow as long as you match the part to the diagram and direction... and don't skip steps! If the train is facing forward in the instructions, make sure the train you're assembling is the same direction, so the parts for the left side of the train match up to the left side, and vice versa.The completed train is adorable with cute details like the red light on the top, bright red wheels (which rotate) and fender, and smokestack.
