A different,sober,mature Mitch Rapp. Stays away from wanton killing. Story as usual top grade. More to do with what the west fears most. Meddling by the Russians ( rogue in this case)in internal affairs and how they go about it.Predictable but yet fun reading.

Unlike Andrew Grant, Mills isn’t trying to change Mitch Rapp’s character. The action takes place in the Middle East, but it’s against a mad Russian instead of Islamic terrorists. Pulse-pounding action and Rapp’s crew is back in action. Claudia is left out, for no discernible reason, but cute Anna is back. Well worth it.

The first thirteen books have been written by Vince Flynn, the original creator of the series. After Flynn passed away in 2013 from cancer, Kyle Mills continued the story and has written nine books since then.Mitch Rapp is a counter-terrorism agent whose primary role is to thwart foreign terrorist attacks on the United States using any means necessary. Rapp became a member of Orion, a black-ops team supported by the CIA but completely off the books.I am well acquainted with spy thrillers, having read my fair share of them over the years. And yet, Vince Flynn reels you in with a character who is incredibly complex. After The Last Man (Vince Flynn’s last book), Kyle Mills steps in seamlessly, imitating Flynn’s voice so well, staying true to the universe he created.From the first book I started reading, I have been well and truly hooked to this series. The series has a diverse range of characters, of which the lead and support cast is particularly brilliant. A real action packed page turner. I did not want to put it down!Looking forward to the next adventure with Mitch Rapp. Five stars.

This book was very well crafted and was hard to put down. The story line was intriguing and provided the opportunity for another book. I would recommend this book to anyone.

Code red is a fast paced and well structured adventure story. Fascinating, gripping and extremely hard to put down. The threat scenario described is realistic. Buy it, read it, you’ll love it!

The stories continue to be told so well, bringing the characters and events together for an excellent read. The stories are well written and resemble those tensions occurring in the world.
