Brilliant brake

I bought these for a project bike to replace a set of mechanical disc brakes. I'd say these are on par with the cheaper Shimano hydraulic brakes that come with most budget friendly bikes from a Local Bike Store. Discs seem decent enough and the build quality of the brakes themselves is good. My criticisms are that they felt a bit squishy and are set up the wrong way around, left for front and right for rear. The only way of fixing that is to remove the lines from the lever and swap them. I did this and managed to be able to use the same olive without much a leak when connected. What I did note was the lack of any fluid that run from the lever or pipe when I disconnected them, which may suggest they aren't bled very well, which would explain the squishy feel. Luckily enough I had a bleed kit and added extra fluid into each system which gave a much better response and feel. I did swap the organic pads to fully metal ones which has improved these brakes even further. Definitely a decent enough set of hydraulics for the price, and with a little extra fluid and metal pads, they're more than enough for general riding and a bit of cross country.

Fitted these on my cannondale MTB. was sick of spongy brake, insanity inducing squeaking discs and having to use my foot to stop occasionally so i finally bit the bullet and bought these budget brakes and they are amazing. so responsive. so quiet. a dream after suffering so long, wish i had done this ages ago. The install took an hour, so easy. one thing to note is the brakes are reversed, so the left and the right are swapped, but it doesn't make any difference, i can't recommend these highly enough.

Bought these as supposed to be used excellent condition but unfortunately they were shocking the leavers weren't attached to the hose properly and the hoses had been cut and shortened then not bled also there is no adjustment on the leavers, complete utter rubbish

I don’t write reviews generally but these have really surprised me. I could not get my old Hope Mono Minis to bleed correctly without stripping them an rebuilding them. It worked out just as cheap to buy new brakes. What struck me is the good quality levers and they even have some reach adjustment. Very basic but it’s there. Fitted and tested and they work just fine. Are they good? Honestly they are better than expected. I wouldn’t do downhill with them but I’d certainly do my local trails with them (High Lodge, Thetfoed Forest) I would definitely buy these again. Happy trails 😊

No se puede pedir más por el precio. Funciona perfectamente y no tiene que envidiar a marcas más famosas. El único inconveniente es que en la imágenes aparece tornillo de ajuste de cierre, pero en realidad no viene con ello.
