The strawberry flavor is satisfactory. The Banana flavor, however, is absolutely putrid.

Superb product, however, it says zero lactose zero milk on the product description, im lactose intolerant, and the ingredients on the packaging says "PRODUCT CONTAINS MILK"all is okay, i still enjoyed and finished it, good use, im buying something similar but not this again(only cuz of the lactose thing)GREAT PRODUCT!!!!

Cookies and cream is delicious, not over sweet, mixes smooth and not chalky or gritty if you stick to 1 scoop per 5oz (2 scoops for 10oz or 3 scoops for 15oz) I mix it with 3% lactose free milk and it's like drinking a milkshake. The protein and calories are great and the carbs aren't as high as other brands so it doesn't give you a huge insulin dump (which is good) I would highly recommend this Myogenix Aftershock Critical Mass!

20240124:I like the new bag and the larger scoop. The new formula does not seem to offer Cookies n Cream, my preferred, but the chocolate will do. The new mix is a much lighter powder that gets everywhere and is not as shaker friendly as the older mix. Despite all that, this is still my preferred gainer.20131211:I am not sure what is going on, but this is twice that I ordered one flavor and got another. It is bad enough that the one I like is impossible to get, but the replacement flavor I ordered is being fulfilled with another flavor. This happened on their online site and on Amazon as well. Those is frustrating when you expect to get what you want but get another.Old review:Been taking this brand for years. Other proteins are hard on me (lactose intolerant) and I am not a fan of the pea protein. The flavor is good (Cookies N Cream) even when mixing with water. I could mix with almond or soy milk to make it thicker or add more calories, but 700 a serving is enough. Every now and then, I will get a batch where you can tell the filters did not do their job. For the most part, this is my go-to for protein.

I typically have consumed regular whey proteins powders in the past, and not full on “gainer” shakes…probably been 20+ years since a I’ve done that. Well, this product is pretty damn good. Great flavor and consistency. Low serving amount is a plus over other products…getting the nutrients I want without having to use a ton of product. I will definitely buy this brand again.
