The corn was tasty but the can was half water but it is sold by weight, not volume so the size should not fool you. The only real complaint is that this very expensive .

Hominy is great in white chili with white beans, our favorite soup now!

I devide in containers and freeze in portions as needed.

A tad more expensive than what I am used to, but delicious.

I make Posole Verde typically once a year for a party. This is a wonderful size can for that purpose but the price was shocking when you can purchase a similar size can in many grocery stores. They aren't organic but they cost about $5 versus the $25 this organic can cost. Whew! Everything we eat is organic. We figure if we only do this once per year, we aren't in danger -- and we save $20.

I purchased this product because i love to eat a healthy organic meal. The amount of hominy you get is very little compared to the amount of water. About a quarter of the can or a bit more is water. The quality of the product is excellent. This is the best hominy my family has ever had. Its soft, delicious and easy on your stomach compared to the regular Juanitas brand. I recommend the quality, there is no price on good health. The price is outrageous for the amount of corn in the can and considering corn is one of the most abundant grains.

Favorite hominy, we had been avoiding certain dishes because could not find organic hominy. This hominy is great, we had been able to enjoy some dishes, like pozole.

Too little hominy for the price.
