Strong, Light Weight and convenient.
My 9 year old Lab tore her ACL and had to have TPLO surgery. Thanks to this ramp she is still able to go everywhere with me. I love how sturdy and safe it feels. Well made and strong but still very light. Folds up nicely and fits behind the seat in my truck. If you have an older dog or one that just has trouble jumping up into the vehicle, I highly recommend this ramp.

Worked great and dog felt secure on wider longer ramp.
Bought for old dog to get into side by side. Worked great and she easily maneuvered up and down ramp.

Slippery carpet covering
Over all, I like the ramp. My one complaint is that the carpet on it is slippery. I specifically bought the ramp to help my older Corgi who has severe arthritis in both back legs/knees get off the deck easier. It was scary watching him slide down the ramp onto the grass below. I ended up placing an older shorter ramp with a better gripping surface on top of it to make it work.

Still not wide or long enough…
The media could not be loaded. I purchased this ramp for both my senior greyhound, who has begun to struggle getting in and out of my 4Runner, and a friend’s large Rottweiler, whom I watch often. I began getting them used to the ramp by laying it flat on the ground (see video), and I really like the carpet covering for traction as opposed to many slicker ramp surfaces. It is much less wide than it appears in the AI generated photos for advertising, but you can easily take a tape measurer to visualize the dimensions in person. The length is not long enough to avoid a steep incline into the back of my 4Runner, which isn’t even as tall as some SUVs or trucks. Lots of training will have to follow if I want either dog to use this ramp with confidence because they both currently slide down the ramp if they slow down or stop above the halfway point. This could lead to injury if a dog slips off one of the sides because even with training a perfect approach with momentum is not guaranteed with injured or elderly dogs. I imagine this ramp would work much better for younger large breeds or for breeds under 50 pounds. It is difficult and a bit cumbersome to fold and unfold-definitely can’t be set up or taken down with excessive haste unless you are quite strong. The joints may become easier to open with more use, but a certain degree of tension is preferred to ensure the ramps won’t partially open when transported. It is also heavier than expected when carrying by the handle. All in all, this is not the perfect ramp for my needs, but I will continue working with my dogs to see if it can perform the job needed. It has performed better than shorter plastic ramps due to the height of my bumper, but the carabiner included should be replaced with one that is more durable for car attachment, and all potential buyers should perform a bit of math with the height of their intended surface and the length of this ramp to make sure the angle isn’t too steep!

Well made
Item is sturdy and folds down to small size includes cary strap.I could not use it with Ford Taurus since ba ck doors don't allow for clearance but works well on front porch for older pup

Really hoped it would work
I bought the 71” L x 20” w ramp for suv. I was so excited to find a ramp that was long and wide for my dog. Have a 105 lb Doberman who is a senior and has more trouble lately jumping into my SUV. I order this ramp based on the information. I was extremely disappointed when I used it.The pro’s: it is light weight. Has an amazing handle and folds up for easy storage. It looks nice and was easy for me to use it. The width in this is amazing; my dog felt secure with the width. The length is good but ended up being too steep with my car.The con’s: I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe 4x4. The ramp would not hook to the back of my suv. I have 2 separate hooks and the rampIs set up for a single latch. (I could have figured something out to make it work). The most important problem was that is bowed pretty bad when my dog walked on it. She is 105 lbs and ad says ramp can hold up to 285 lbs. I had a friend lie under the ramp to make sure it was secure,) since we couldn’t use the attachment to secure it to the back of my car. It was as also steeper than I had anticipated and it was very slippery. I could have added some secure strips to make it less slippery but in the long run, it seemed like I had to make alot of adjustments on an item that bowed alot when my dog walked on it; and it already isn’t cheap. It is a nice product and I am disappointed that it didn’t work for me but maybe if you have a smaller and newer suv it might work better. My Tahoe is higher than my daughters suv( she has a 2015 Toyota RAV 4)I really wish this had worked for me but back to searching I go…
