Work Great for Homeless Food Ministry
We got these for our Homeless Ministry at church. They are great. Being in CA we can no longer use the foam take out boxes. These are the best priced acceptable replacement. They are sturdy enough and they are 9X9 which is really important for us. I am not sure yet it they will get soggy, but so far they are great.

Great Company and excellent product
Very reputable merchant! I thought the size I ordered would be perfect for my small business, but the product did not fit my items the way I envisioned. They refunded my purchase as soon as they saw the UPS return in transit. I had my refund in my bank account the next morning. That was the fastest refund in many years of ordering from Amazon. Thank you Karat!

Work well, but aren't the cheapest
KARAT EARTH 6''x6'' PFAS Free Compostable Bagasse Hinged Containers, Natural, KE-BHC66N-1CFF - 500 ctThese to-go container are perfect for smaller food items, such as salad or dessert. I am happy with the quality and function. So far, no issues with closure or leakage. I prefer the compostable material products and am no stranger to this and similar products. The size is a square 6x6 inch box. These are on the higher end of pricing for this particular product of similar quality. At the time of the review a 500 pack costs $70... that's $0.14 each and better deals can be found without compromising quality.

Great for leftovers
I pretty much always have leftovers any time I make dinner for my family, so I have been using these to pack and send some of the food with each of them when they go to work the next day. I've been through maybe 75ish of them and they seem to be doing a good job, though they are definitely small. May end up going for a bigger size when I eventually make it through these.

Eco-Friendly and Convenient Food Containers
These KARAT EARTH compostable containers are a fantastic choice for eco-conscious food service businesses or individuals who want to reduce their environmental impact. The bagasse material is sturdy and provides a natural, aesthetically pleasing look. The hinged design makes them easy to open and close, and the 6x6 inch size is perfect for a variety of food items. They're PFAS-free and compostable, making them a guilt-free choice for serving and storing food. While they might not be suitable for extremely hot or greasy foods, they're a great option for everyday use and a step towards a more sustainable lifestyle.

Not for my house!
These 6’‘x6’’ bagasse containers are not suitable for holding any food with water or oil. After placing slightly moist food inside, the box quickly becomes soaked, softens, and even starts leaking, completely losing its original shape. This makes it very inconvenient to use, especially for takeout or meal prep. They might work for dry foods, but if there’s any liquid or grease, I definitely wouldn’t recommend them.
