It was very umami, earthy, and deep with a sweetness from the lavender and lemon. Unfortunately I just don't think the lemon and lavender did enough to change the flavor.It also has an aftertaste that stays in your mouth for a while even after you drink something to try and wash the flavor out.I took it a few hours after eating dinner when we were just lounging and about to watch a movie and I didn't feel like it made me sleepy or extra calm, I didn't feel any change.Just a random aside, I do love the artwork on the bottle!
