Well Worth the Premium Price
I read the other reviews prior to purchasing this seemingly overpriced cabin air filter for my 2017 Kia Sportage. Initially, I was wondering whether it was worth paying 2-3 times what I’m used to for a cabin air filter. Unfortunately, instead of learning whether it really outperforms the competition, I read reviews from several people who claimed it didn’t fit. I was hesitant, but decided to place an order... worst case, it wouldn’t fit and I’d have to return it. I am glad to report that the 6036C is the correct filter for the 2017 Kia Sportage. If I had to guess, I would say that the people who ran into this were sent the incorrect filter. I suppose it is also possible that they installed it incorrectly, but that seems highly unlikely, as I found installation to be a piece of cake (it took me less than five minutes — thanks for the simple design, Kia). My old filter was exactly one year and one week old when I installed this one, and it was still surprisingly clean. If not for curiosity, I likely would have put the old one back in for another few months, and kept this one on-hand to install later. I decided to proceed, however, and I’m glad I did. After completing the installation, I took my car out for a drive. Now, like I said, I’ve always gone for the generic filters that seem to be roughly the same in quality as OEM filters, but sell from half, or even 1/3, of the price of this Bosch HEPA filter. Generally, after replacing a filter, about the only thing I notice is a slightly higher output of air. After installing this filter, however, I was blown away by the distinct “fresh air” smell... I had never driven a car and actually thought to myself that the air coming through the vents smelled cleaner than the air when standing outside the car. That changed with this filter. Now, I did notice a slight reduction in airflow after installing the filter and, as I said before, I typically notice higher airflow after replacing a cabin air filter. This is obviously because of the fact that this filter captures particles down to .3 microns, which is significantly better than a standard filter. I don’t think the reduction in airflow is significant enough to not recommend this filter... my car was still comfortable in just a couple of minutes on a 95 degree day, and the improvement in air quality was the kind of drastic change you sometimes see with a new set of tires that significantly outperform the cheap (yet not inexpensive) junk most manufacturers install at the factory. I’ll gladly take a slight reduction in airflow if it means I am breathing in air that is that much cleaner. For those who are reluctant to spend 2-3 times what they normally would for a cabin air filter, I recommend giving this a shot. Yeah, it’s more expensive, but it’s still less than half of what a mechanic would charge you to install one of the generic or OEM filters that don’t do their job as well as this one does. Spend a little extra on the part, and save a bunch on the labor, then enjoy the cleaner, healthier air in your car!

Super filter!
Great fit on my Hyundai Accent 2013. Easy to install courtesy of Youtube videos. Note to all on this model of car and cabin filter: Arrow on the filter should point DOWN. I love my dealer, but they wanted $100 to do this, and they had been using a crappier filter, which turns out, was installed incorrectly. This is a great filter for me, and cost $78 less to do it myself.

Does not fit well for 2015 Tucson GLS
The filter is too thick (tall) for 2015 Tucson GLS. I had to cut off portion of the hard strip from one end, then took out the six thin strips in the middle. Only then I was able to push it in the filter holder. The filter restricts the air flow some what in comparison to other none HEPA filters, as expected. A Review update: I am raising it to 5 stars from 4. Where I live, NW suburb Chicago, so many homes use fire places, and the AQI hovers around 100. It was measured by Air Visual from IQ Air. Roll up the car window and turn on the fan to pull in outside air, then I would get AQI of 10 to 15. I am so satisfied to know that my lungs are well taken care of. Yes, it was difficult to insert the filter in my 2015 Tucson, and the air flow decreases to about half. However, it gives me clean air, and that is all that matters. I am definitely buying this filter from now on...

Questionable authenticity
The product manual has a typo so it makes me question if it's a genuine filter. Bought a 6055C for a Toyota and has same typo... Not sure what to take away from that. Filter works fine.

Great product, air quality restored.
This really did the job. Two thumbs up car smells normal, I recommend cleaning out the cabin filter area with a steam cleaner as well.

This filter works pretty good, there isn't really a seal with this filter so I believe some air can go around it.. Besides that, I've noticed a significant reduction in odors from outside which I appreciate. Also, I really like the idea of having a HEPA filter to do my best to keep from inhaling all the exhaust from the other vehicles on the road. Fits BK1 genesis coupe.

The product was as described and I did receive it in time. Despite the description saying it fits the 2017 Kia Sportage, it does not fit the 2.4 ltr engine.

Product works great. Exactly as advertised online. I would definitely recommend to anyone else looking for a cabin filter.

After installing this filter I noticed that the AC is no longer able to cool down my car. It might provide great filtration, though.

Well I'm glad it blocking all the dust but I need the air to pass through !! Gets clogged so fast my AC stopped throwing air. I understand its HEPA but if you got engineers worth their weight, why not make a pre-filter so the HEPA filter doesn't get clogged in like 5 minutes.
