Briggs & Riley ZDX Luggage, Ocean, Carry-On 22 Inch, ZXU122SPX-26

I have a 20 year old old Eagle Creek Hovercraft 26 inch upright suitcase with 2 wheels that I wanted to replace with a 4 wheel suitcase. I ordered the Eagle Creek 26 inch upright and it was cheap, awful, and much smaller than my old Eagle Creek26 inch upright. It was so inferior to my Hovercraft which is still in great shape.I ordered the Briggs and Riley ZDK 4 wheel upright and it is WONDERFUL! The suitcase is easy to push around and is balanced and sturdy when upright. It does not fall over! The material is extremely sturdy and the life time warranty is exactly what I need for frequent travel.The interior is roomy, has 2 great pockets in the top of the suitcase and a great compression strap in the bottom of the suitcase. The expansion is great and adds much additional space.I love the exterior 2 pockets as I use them constantly for things I need quick access too.I am not sure what happened to the quality of Eagle Creek luggage, but I am completely happy with my Briggs & Riley luggage! I HIGHLY recommend this luggage. Although it is a bit more expensive, I can tell it will last many trips and may years!

This Briggs & Riley carry on is a must have for easy travel. Nice pockets to access from the outside and very light weight. The wheels are awesome for getting thru the airport.

When I travel, regardless of whether it's domestic or international, I only take a carry on bag and a personal item. I've been burned too many times getting my bags to go through customs abroad only to realize I missed my connecting flight.The warranty service is the primary reason I bought this bag - other brands offer a lifetime warranty, but only if the damage was caused by the airline. This seems pointless if you are buying a carry on!I was on a Southwest flight and the 737-700 planes they use fit the bag just barely (but it fit!). I definitely wouldn't use the expansion feature on that plane. Their 737 max planes had MORE than enough space for the bag - definitely could take advantage of expansion on those planes.I liked the front zipper compartment - I fit some house slippers in there, though it did add a little bit of bulk. The stretch storage in the very front is fine for smaller items or light jackets as you go through the airport, though I'd worry about something falling out of it if you had to check the bag.The compression feature in the bag leaves something to be desired - it has a stretchy band that doesn't really compress anything because it just stretches out. My old bag had nylon straps that really cinched the clothes down. I may just use a compression sack if I really need to - I always travel with one just in case I need extra room for souveniers (they're great for dirty clothes while travelling, too!).The wheels are very smooth, this is my first bag that has 4 wheels instead of 2 - very useful to get the load off your hands in the airport or on the streets.I was able to fit 4-5 days worth of colder weather clothes in the bag, I could probably fit a week or more worth of clothes if it was warmer weather.Looking forward to another 10 years of carry-on only travel with this bag (at minimum!).
