Fun mini escape room
Bought this for valentine's. It was a cute game for a date night. Not too long. Works as hybrid online and cards, submitting answers online and with clues available. Fun game and good value and will be buying others from this series/brand. Recommend.

A lot of fun
We played this game on Christmas Eve and it was a fun way to pass the time after dinner. The majority of the puzzles were easy to solve and the remaining few were more difficult but not impossible. The game took us (3 adults and 1 child) around 45 minutes to complete.

Challenging game
Me and my partner struggled to complete it but still enjoyed it!

Very challenging but good fun for an evening
We did the Cupid challenge, just the two of us. We love escape rooms and board games, we've done quite a few escape rooms in the last few years. This game was really challenging (it is the highest difficulty rating) and we definitely got stuck a few times but the questions are really good and satisfying when you get it!It was hard to get past the first question but once we understood the idea of the game and clues, we managed to get it at a good pace. Had to use a hint towards the end and we completed it in about an hour and a half (mainly because it was late and we were slowing down!).Love the use of the app and the extra background info on the website. The box it comes in is small and neat as well which makes it easy to transport.I'd like to try the easier ones to see the difference in difficulty. It is a one shot game but definitely worth the money for a fun night in and I like that you can pass it on to friends and family!

A fun, quick escape room
As this is family friendly, some of the puzzles were easy enough for younger members of the family and we did play with 4 adults, so it went quite quickly, but overall we enjoyed it. There were some tough puzzles towards the end and there weren't any puzzles that we got straight away.I think my only feedback would be that it would have been better with a through-line mystery as well. Some of the puzzles connected to each other, but there wasn't an overall mystery to solve in the same way some other escape room games have.

Cute game for couples (or on your own!)
It was harder than I thought but it links to an app that has hints. Really got us thinking. Using a notepad rather than drawing on the cards also meant we could play it again later

A great family game
A fun and easy to set up family game. If playing with younger children they would definitely need some help/input from an adult

A dollar a minute
So this is just a handful of cards that took me about 10 minutes to complete. It wasn't much fun and it left me wishing I hadn't spent the money on this.

The Kringle Caper - Christmas Fun!
The Kringle Caper is the original Holiday Hijinks series release (but it's the 3rd in the series that my wife and I have played). This was a rather fun way to spend an hour (or more) during Christmas weekend. Much like the Deckscape series, the Holiday Hijinks series packs a lot of punch into a small deck of cards (and I do mean SMALL!).The story was silly. That's okay. Nobody expects a literary thriller in these types of games. The puzzles made up for it. The Kringle Caper is an intermediate level game (level 2 of 3). We never had to use any hints--though occasionally my wife would look at one "just to make sure" we were on the right track and not spinning our wheels for nothing--but overall the puzzles were straightforward and solvable with a little bit of gray matter. One puzzle was a little tricky. Another one was... well... not quite correct? I mean, we deduced the correct answer, but the path through the workshop didn't quite make sense. The next morning, I went online and looked at all the hints for that puzzle, and although the final solution was given, the correct path through the workshop was not (grrr!). That was a little frustrating; but at least we figured out the important part of the clues.Anyway, the two worst criticisms of this game that I can make are: (1) this is not really an "escape room" game, even though that's what it says on the package, and (2) I wish the cards were bigger in size. Those two criticisms are true of all three Holiday Hijinks games we've played. I would prefer less (i.e. elimination of) reliance on the app, but I have to admit that they don't abuse it.And, as others have mentioned, nothing is destroyed during the game (at least it doesn't have to be), so you can just pack things up when you're finished and pass it on to another family member, friend, or a local thrift shop. We enjoyed The Kringle Caper (and the others we've played), and hope they come out with many, many more of these games. I personally also hope they do "repeats" of major holidays (like "The Kringle Caper II", "The Reindeer Revolt", "The Elf Encounter", "The Snooty Snowmen", or similar titles as additional Christmas themes, for example). In other words, make some of these into a semi-recurring tradition for people to play over the holidays.

Quite Fun But A Little Challenging
Bought this for my family to play during the holiday season. Took us about an hour and a half spread over 2 days. My wife and I really enjoyed it. My 8 and 10 year old kids checked out a few times during some of the harder clues, but all-in-all had fun. But I definitely would say if you are going to play with kids they need to be 10+ to probably not get frustrated. After we completed it we recorded our time on a note card and then passed the game along to some friends. They recorded their time and then we passed it onto some more friends. We'll probably keep doing so next year just to allow more people to experience it since you obviously can only play it once. All-in-all I would recommend and would purchase again. We likely will try one of the other holiday versions too

Amazing, except for the last puzzle
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this game - the technology integration, ease of playing, the riddles, etc. I think it is incredibly well done, and just challenging enough where it is not the most difficult, but you feel accomplished completing the puzzles (we have done quite a few escape games too). That being said, we did not enjoy the last puzzle. Not going to give any hints or spoilers, but this is just our personal opinion. Still giving 5 stars, and we would definitely be interested in trying another puzzle by from these creators.
