For the price, NOPE, not for me. Man I thought this was gonna be very cool but NOPE. Before even using this you have to get onto the computer and download and upload, NOPE. I wanted something out of the box and easy to connect for playback via wireless capability or even a short wire. Yes it is small, and you can mount it via a small magnet under a table or on a wall of sorts. But you have a bunch of work to do and that isn't my forte. I want a plug and play, why can't this be programmed by the company before shipping based off Mac or PC. For the price that should be part of it, with the size of SSD now days the 1200 hours of recording is not a big deal as the amount of time it takes to get the thing ready. Would not buy at this price point knowing all the work and hassle to get it going and playback.

This is a nice little voice recorder, it's magnetic so it can be located in numerous locations. It also plays music but it's a little distorted if you turn the volume up to much. The one thing that I don't like is in order to activate the voice activation you'll need to attach it to your computer and modify the VOR parameter value in the recset.txt file. That to me is a minus it should be easier than that with perhaps just a button or switch to press or push.
