These do the job as good as any other. When I ordered them I had searched for "biodegradable floss picks". In the description they are described as biodegradable but also made from plastic (I did not notice this until after purchasing). On the packaging it says 'made with cornstarch', with cornstarch - not from cornstarch. Pretty much every biodegradable product around advertises it on its packaging but nowhere does it say they are so I feel i have been mislead. I won't be pursuing these again
