Kerrits Women's Ice Fil Full Seat Horse Riding Tights – Breathable, Cooling Equestrian Summer Tights, Pockets, Belt Loops

Now retired from the show ring me and my miniature horses go on long trail walks. I needed something that would help keep me cool as well as something I could ride in, if one of my friends with a full size horse was with and offered to switch. These tights are very soft and comfortable allowing me to walk and climb hills with lots of movement. I do feel cooler when wearing them and they seem to dry quicker than normal pants after walking through streams. The cute grippy carrots are great help for staying in the saddle and of course you can always appreciate having pockets large enough for a cellphone.I personally have been hand washing mine after reading a few reviews saying there was problems with picking of the fabric. I haven't have any issues with pilling or picking and I'm careful to keep Velcro away from the tights. They are a bit delicate it feels so I will also make sure not to be going through very brushy trails when wearing them. I would still recommend them for all around use and they are made in the USA!

I LOVE these breeches. They are my favorite to wear for so many reasons.1. The pants just stay up and perfect on your waist. I am SO picky about this because I don't want to be pulling my pants up while I am riding ever. They even have the option to add a belt if you like your pants locked down.2. The plastic little carrots on the booty keep you in the saddle.... it's amazing! no slipping at all.3. I was very skeptical about how these pants would keep me "cool" in the hot California sun. When you first put them on they seem like they would keep you warm. Honestly, these breeches are great in all weather keep me warm in cold weather and cool in hot weather... i don't understand how they accomplished that, some hoodini magic going on here.4. The most comfortable pants ever. I even fell alseep in these.Great product. need them in all colors. if youre thinking of buying i HIGHLY reccomend, you won't regret it.

I'm not sure if these are actually any more cooling than normal summer riding tights. But they certainly aren't hotter and do seem breathable! The interior is a bit confusing, it feels like the same brushed fleece that exists in my winter tights. These also have the lowest rise waist of all my riding tights, but they aren't so low that I feel like my butt with show when in 2-point. Length and sizing all seem accurate, the size I ordered based on the sizing chart was spot on for what I needed. Color is definitely on the green side, but I knew that ordering. Just know that if you want a true tan show breech, these will probably be slightly off from what you are expecting. Love seeing belt loops on riding tights, and the side pockets deep enough for my bulky phone.I only took away 1 star because they say these are mild grip but I would say they are NO grip. With these I can slip and slide all over my saddle if I wanted to. Not necessarily a deal-breaker, IMO, since you shouldn't be reliant on your pants, you should be able to ride and have a good seat without that aid. But sometimes I want my pants to be super grippy when sitting the trot or riding a fresher horse. So if you're expecting silicone that will glue you in place, these are not that at all. It does seem like they would be durable with how they are basically embedded in the material, though, so I don't expect to lose any in the washer/dryer.

I LOVE these pants! I don’t even ride horses but found an older pair in my mother’s closet one day, put them on and didn’t take them off for months (not literally).I ultimately bought my own pair (and replaced my mother’s, I’d worn hers out 😂) and I really like them. However, the material of the new pair seems thinner, and as a result, the belt loops seem decorative (I would never wear that type of thinner legging with a belt, unless it was for style and I was feeling particularly confident).I consider them one of the finest leggings I’ve worn, as compared to Lulu, Patagonia, H&M... ideally Kerrits would offer these +2 different weights, 1 thicker and 1 cross-active. Thanks Kerrits!

I've been a fan of these Kerrits products and ordered size Medium in the past (regardless of what the Kerrits size chart says). However ordering Medium in recent orders, felt too tight on me. I'm 5'4" and weigh 130. In new orders, have ordered size Large and they seemed to fit well. However, this order in Large was way too tight on my legs and ankles, so I returned it. Makes you wonder if there is consistency in manufacture?

These really are cooling in the Boise hot dry Sun. Hands down my favorite summer riding tights! They are remarkably thin but have stood up to lots of machine washing over the summer. Have always air-dried. Except once I was in a hurry and threw them in the dryer on low for a few minutes and they were fine and dry. One 98 degree day I put them on wet and they felt great on my way out to the barn. My other favorite part is they are long and they stay put. I appreciate the belt loops but have never needed them. I am 5 10 with 34 in inseam.
