Love Sketchers and this one is no exception!
As anyone who has large feet finding the right shoe comes down to getting getting cheap shoes that still don't fit. That or you run into issues where shoes are way too high because manufacturers know they can get away with high prices and we are apt to buying them. These shoes were priced just right! On sale! However, I would have purchased them anyhow.Right out of the box it felt like new hiking boots in how stiff they are. The thing is that they don't feel heavy at all, almost like you know, an extension of you.The construction of the shoe looks to be very sturdy, I am not sure but I think that they used reflective materials. The memory foam aspect of it takes a little adjusting to but does not take long to have it confirm to your feet. The only real issue I had with these shoes was the fact that the bottoms of the shoes are slick until you get some wear in on them. The overall fit is great, I have been getting size 14-15 wide when all I needed 14 Extra wide.I would definitely buy another pair when I can, they are worth the money, and having had a pair a while back, I am just as impressed now as I was then.

Great shoe crap glue
This is my 3rd pair of these afterburners and they all have the same issue that leads to their ultimate demise... The sole comes unglued starting at the toe flap. If they upgrade their glue these shoes would last me two years but as is I'm lucky to make it through the year. I'm hard on shoes, I have a tree trimming and lawn care business so for 9 months of the year I'm on my feet and climbing through some tough terrain. The shoestrings outlast the glue on the sole but otherwise a decent and comfortable shoe. Will buy another pair next year but would be nice if they would hold up until the tread was worn out.

Great value!
These are the second pair of Skechers with memory foam I own and won't buy anything else. Great value for the money spent. They are solidly built and great for those that spend a lot of time on their feet!

Solid
I am a fan of Skechers shoes. I have worn them almost exclusively for 7 or 8 years. These are a little heavier and slightly less flexible than I expected. Not too heave, and dot inflexible, but not quite what I expected, either. They wear well, with good support and seem to have good durability. I am on my feet for hours at a time, and these are comfortable and supportive.

Comfortable
The shoe is so comfortable and I love it. I work 16hrs 4 days a week and I have been looking for a great shoe to support my body because I weigh 220 pounds. This is a dream come true for me

Extra wide size is comfortable
I have wide feet, and many sneakers or athletic shoes do not come in wide sizes. These Skechers athletic shoes come in extra wide sizes, and fit my feet perfectly.

Will Buy Again!
I have tried several different brands of "tennis shoes" and these Sketchers are the best out of them all. I see and read the bad reviews here and form my point of view the negative reviews are untrue. Those people are obviously doing extreme workouts that would tear up even heavy leather boots. I have been wearing my Sketchers everyday since I bought them in the family welding shop on a concrete floor and normal daily use and I am very pleased with these shoes. I will be buying more and I highly recommend them to anyone. The sizes are accurate.

Skechers a good value for your money!
Skechers a good value for your money! They are really comfortable compared to other shoes in their category. I've been buying Skechers for the last few years and they have never disappointed me.

Excellent quality, durability and comfort - a 1 year use perspective
Rather than pop up reviews straight away, I think it's more useful to actually _use_ a product for a time. In this case, I owned and used these shoes for about 1 year by the time to sole was showing signs of wearing through. Attached to this review are pictures comparing the new (left/top) to the old so you can see how usage affected them. For context, I am a fairly big guy - 187cm (about 6'2"), and 95kg (about 210lb). I tend to burn through my primary footwear in a short time, with most shoes struggling to make it to one year. I walk my dog every day along with a good bit of walking at work, as well as cycling and other personal adventures; I'm quite active and would say I average 3 to 5km a day of walking. What impressed me most about these shoes has been the durability. As early as 5 months after getting new shoes, I sometimes have to use glue to reattach bits of the sole or parts of the body of the shoe that start to come apart - this has been true of Reeboks, Nikes, Timberlands, Merrells and many others. These Sketchers are the first in years to make it through without needing any repair. That includes the inside. Often I find the insides begin to disintegrate as well, with liners coming out and sometimes parts of the shoe rubbing or becoming uncomfortable - these held up fine. The sole did not wear through at any point, or through the process of wearing, expose some hollowed out area beneath (which some shoes have, and which only accelerates wear at that point). They do seem to have a red wear-indicator which you can see at the toe-end of the old shoe's sole. At that stage, it feels like there's maybe a millimetre or so of sole left. And perhaps a small thing, but I'm also impressed with how well the laces held up too. The plastic tips on the end of the laces tend to start coming apart, and sometimes the laces themselves break, but as you can see in the first picture, the laces of the old shoe look almost as good as the new ones.As for comfort, fit and function, the shoe impressed me there from the start. They're very lightweight, and they fit and conform well to your foot. They're comfortable on long walks and/or runs, as well as comfortable for bicycle riding. Wearing them all day in the office is also quite comfortable - they are breathable enough that you don't feel like you're overheating in them. They also clean up very well. I try to take care of my shoes and keep them clean, and despite ending up dusty/sandy or with mud on them many times, you can see from the pictures that in the end, they still cleaned up well and looked good.I would absolutely recommend these - first time in well over a decade I actually bought the same shoe twice because I was pleased with how it held up. Yes, it would be nice if the soles were a bit more durable in shoes, but I think that's a problem across all brands. For the price, this shoe is a fantastic value and well worth the purchase.

Shoe reviews are so subjective...but these are excellent
It's hard to shop for shoes by reading other people's ratings, as the fit & comfort is so subjective. What's important to me is quality; I hate it when shoes start having the soles separate, laces fray or snap, eyelets break or rip out after 3 to 6 months. My last pair of shoes, Rockports that I got on Amazon as well, lasted a good 3 years so quality was excellent, but they pinched my big toes at the inside tips and over time were causing me bad pain. The pain went away when I wore other shoes or boots. As soon as I put on these Skechers, a brand I'd never tried before, I found there was enough room for my big toes to "breathe", so-to-speak, and not rub at the front of the shoes. No pain whatsoever, and the size 9 fit me perfectly, as it ought to--I'm typically a very ordinary, average size 9 so I could say the fit was exactly as expected. The memory foam insoles are very comfy, never had that before either...it feels like you're walking on little clouds or pillows. That probably sounds like a tad of hyperbole, but they really DO feel that comfortable!I've only been wearing them a few days but these Skechers have exceeded my expectations...and I can only hope the quality and durability holds up.EDIT Sep 16, 2020: I've had these shoes just past a year now and they're holding up great. Soles are still solidly attached, no flip-flopping, laces still good and unfrayed, stitching all still looks tight. Glad I made the right choice on these shoes.

Seller seem a good company.
The item turn up well before due date. I got a surprise from the post office saying i owed money for handling. Not happy about this so i contacted seller and they said they would refund the money I paid out. Very pleased with this. Thank you. ( Only gripe here is that i had to leave work early to collected them , not a door to door service . )As for the sketchers, I ve had them before ( different shop) so i know what to expected and so far , so good. I'm a 8.5 in the foot so i always get a 9 ( 43 ) and they fit great. If they fall apart in the next few days you'll here from me but I think these will be good trainer. So far very pleased.I have had the Sketchers for nearly two months and have to say they are good . I went for a wide fitting and these are . Only thing is the memory foam seems to have contracted Alzheimer lolBut still comfortable .

Sturdy. Comfortable. Beware, comes in US sizing!
Arrived from USA slightly quicker than expected. Ordered the US size which was 11.5 (equivalent to 10.5 in Uk sizing). Fits exactly as expected. Still very new but already comfortable with a nice width at the ball of the foot giving a nice 'roomy' feel without being too big. They are quite a sturdy shoe so don't have the light weight feel of some other Skechers designs. Don't know yet how long lasting they will be but I'm very happy I bought them.

Hard shoes like cement
Nice design, tender plate, very hard sole. Nothing to do with the shape ups they made before. Shoes that are very hard and not comfortable. I do not recommend them. This brand makes increasingly uncomfortable shoes.
