A bit snug on my 4 year old's skates, so probably won't last long. But good quality otherwise.

Really good kit for your figure skates. Comes with a towel to wipe skates dry after practice, plus a soft plush skate soaker for storage and also of course the hard guards. The one I bought was a sparkling pink one that my daughter LOVES and it just adds that tiny little detail any child will adore. The guards need to be cut to your child's skate length. There is a useful youtube video made by crs that shows you how to measure and cut. Honestly it's common sense. When you cut them a small tip is to use a mitre saw if you have one. This makes for super clean cuts. The plastics sorta " melt " when you use a high speed saw so it makes it look prettily OEM cuts. Another tip I can offer is, if you're putting them on youth skates you will absolutely 100% find that the guards bend up too much and prevents the skate from properly sitting on the guards flat. I actually had to also cut a decent chunk off the tips of the front and back bends to make the guard sit properly to the blade and fit snug. If you don't do this your youth skates will not seat up and line up flush to the guards . After custom cutting the guards they fit snug and they do not fall off when walking. Perfect For the record the skates in the picture are youth size 1B. And those needed custom cutting on the front and back tips alongside length. These are outstanding. --- update... after a couple years, the product held up well. i cut too much for fitting her previous skates so i needed a new set for her next size up. excellent guards -- highly recommend.

These are perfect for what I needed, the guards are easy to put together and everything in the set matches perfectly. The color is true to what is advertised. I ordered the teal.
