Great, sharp knife for everyday use. Good weight ratio and hand grip. Looks amazing and very comfortable to use. Functions on thick items as well as fruit.

The sharpest knife I've ever used - just ask the 3 cuts my fingers received the first two days of using it. Has a nice weight and grip to it, using it for everything from slicing and dicing to cutting pieces of meat with easy. I'm left-handed and the knife works really well even for me.

Highly recommended. Very sharp. Feels very solid and sturdy. Great middle size knife for the kitchen. Cuts easy, just a gentle push forward and back and my beef roast fell apart. Rinse and wipe when done, super easy. I have a few of the 67 layer Damascus kitchen knives, they are great, but this cuts just as well. Can't go wrong, recommended.

sharp but handle too short and a little too thick for comfort

It fulfilled my need for a sharp, multipurpose utility knife. I use it for practically every kitchen task requiring a sharp cutting tool. Makes short work of cutting vegetables, meat, or whatever. Love it!

This is a good size knife to have on hand. Bridges chef and paring needs. I like it: balance is good and comes sharp.

This is our second knife from this manufacturer. We purchased the 8" version earlier. We were very pleased with the 8" knife but this 6" knife is not as well made. There are grinding marks where the blade transitions to the handle, and the blade itself is not as sharp as the first knife we bought. It is still quite sharp, but the first knife was so sharp you could shave with it, whereas I would rate this knife as average sharpness typical of most new knives. That aside, we like the size of this knife for everyday tasks, and the handle is nicely comfortable and smooth. Overall we are happy with this purchase and never considered sending it back - it's a nice knife.

Utility knife, sharp, weighted well has nice balance, pleasure to use, but be careful

Beautiful balance, quite a short handle so look at the specs if you’ve got very big hands. Too early to say on durability but, so far, a gorgeous bit of kit at a great price. Despite presenting as a Japanese brand, don’t be surprised that it’s made in China. As with all tools you value, wash it and dry it straight after use and do not put it through the dishwasher!
