Loved the look of carafe on line! Order 1 - it came with the drinking glass part all shattered!! Exchanged for another and didn’t even open the box because you could hear the broken glasss just shattered inside!! I believe it has to be a packaging issue!!! Didn’t order another!

I liked the idea of this water carafe. It is a slim sleek design and a really beautiful color. The packaging is gift-able. That being said I would take caution as to where you put it. If you sleep right next to a night-stand, move your arms when you sleep, or have a tendency to knock things over I would take precaution as to using this directly next to your bed. I didn't take that into consideration when I ordered this. For best functional use I am keeping this on my bathroom counter. Either way, it's a nice decorative piece, albeit fragile.

I love the size and look of this carafe . It holds enough water to last me the entire week unlike the one I replaced this with. However just as others have made mention of, the glass is very thin, especially the drinking glass which gives cause to wonder how long it will last. Therefore I hung on to my original carafe just in case. I do love the color as my bed set is light grey so the grey carafe goes well with my color scheme. Love the retro look so overall very pleased with this selection. Just be careful as it is delicate.

I just love the color and ribbed glass on this beautiful carafe. I was so tired of refilling water cups by my bedside table or using a coffee tumbler for water because it has a lid. This looks so beautiful and elegant on my nightstand! What an upgrade! The base feels a bit heavier/thicker than the cup on top (the glass feels a bit too thin to me), so I am a little concerned how it will hold up with washing and constant use. The carafe is pretty easy to clean, but I do suggest using a bottle brush because the mouth is pretty narrow, which is in order for the cup to sit comfortably on top, so if you really need to scrub down to the bottom of the carafe, use a bottle brush. I do hope this set holds up because I really love it!

I love the way it looks, the amber color and shape is pretty and reminiscent of the 70s. It is supposed to be able to hold heat and cold but I can't imagine what type of hot drink you would put in it near your bedside (tea maybe?). I do get thirsty at night so this is very convenient (and kind of precious) to have handy near your bed. The only thing I have a problem with is it's way too light. I'm pretty convinced I'm going to end up breaking the cup that sits on top of the decanter (great design element btw) while trying to fill it or when trying to put it back. Lovely for a guest room, doubt it would survive everyday use.
