Best XLR Connector
Neutrik are my supplier of choice for audio connectors. They are professional grade parts and are worth the extra money. They very rarely fail and are easy to fit.

Has to be soldered to the cable
Does exactly as it is intended to do and easy to fit as long as you are competent with a soldering iron

The best you can get, made even better.
I've used an awful lot of XLR-style connectors over the years, and the only ones I buy now are made by Neutrik. They are well-made, robust and easy to assemble. The pins have pre-tinned solder buckets, so they are really quick to solder up without melting the insulator. Neutrik didn't invent the XLR 'Cannon' connector, but they did refine it into the four-part design used here, which eliminates the fiddly screws of Cannon's original. This is the latest, XX version of the connector. It's the replacement for the discontinued X version, and is functionally the same. The parts are not interchangeable though, so if you have a stash of the coloured boots for the older plugs, they won't fit the new plugs. Ignore the person who left a negative review because the connector came in a bag. It's not 'broken'. You have to assemble the connector yourself. It's meant to be like that, and sensible people know that. Excellent connector, don't waste money on cheap alternatives.

They are good
Very good , but with a certain numbness in my fingers at the moment and having to wear glasses I have been able to solder them, oh well sometime hopefully!

You need to solder these in place.
Used 2 of these to fit a pair of motability scooter chargers that had plastic ends that had started to crack. They are very sturdy and work well, the fit is tighter which stops the connector from falling out the scooter charging port. You do need to solder the wires in place which my soldering iron set at 300c warmed the connection up enough to get the solder flowing and a good joint.

Industry standard. Easy to use. Tough as nails.
I'm writing this almost in response to the user who seemed surprised that this listing for a connector is just for a connector. Yes: It is just a connector. Yes: You do have to solder it yourself and provide the cable. Yes: It comes in its component parts. No: You can't just plug it straight in. I work in touring audio, we have drawers full of boxes of these. I can count on one hand the amount of times these connectors have failed. When XLR cables fail, the vast majority of the time it's a soldering issue or cable issue. These connectors are rock solid. Easy to solder, easy to repair.

Exactly what I needed
I needed to replace an XLR plug that I had used for something else and this was what I was looking for. Good quality and easy to fit to my cable.
