Decent mini fridge freeze, great for camping or rv/van life
The media could not be loaded. Pretty happy with it so far. I was worried about the power consumption, but it seems to idle at around 1w, and will consume 30-40w to run the compressor every half hour or so for a few mins to keep cool. Hard to say what real world usage will be like, as I haven’t used it yet this summer. I’m hoping a 230wh battery should give 36-48 hours usage with fridge and freezer running, provided it’s on dc, as the ac seems to consume significantly more power than running on dc. Cools pretty quickly, and I had assumed only one side operated as a freezer but the larger compartment seems to freeze quicker than the small one. App connection is a bit flaky, just means you need to unpair and reconnect, it realistically the app is only necessary because the on device UI is a little clunky to operate. Lots of manufacturers seem to sell this model under different brand names so it’s probably worth shopping around, as I suspect they’re all exactly the same product. I paid a significantly less than this brand is selling for. For the occasional camping trip it seems pretty ideal. For van life I think it would be plenty big enough and as long as it’s running on dc, as doesn’t use much battery. Eco and low power setting only seem to have an impact running on DC. I’m thinking I can freeze ice packs to extend use for longer trips, and a solar panel should keep it going pretty easily.

Two units don’t work properly
Bought the first unit and after a couple of weeks had an E3 error and wouldn’t work. Customer service were great and sent a replacement immediate. However the large compartment in the replacement unit gets to -4 at a push and palates to above 0.
