Kum 105.11.21 Polystyrene Lead Pointer 2-Hole Pencil Sharpeners with Container, Colors Vary

This is for sharpening the leads of a 2mm mechanical pencil. This has 2 holes. One for getting a short point, one for a longer point. (Also if a lead breaks off in one of the holes, you have a spare hole to use until you can clear the broken point out with a paper clip, later.)It is small. Handles colored leads well without jamming. Not messy, since all the shaving are caught. Very easy to carry in your pocket or pencil case. Pretty durable. It has a flat bottom, so is easy to velcro it onto a drawing board or clip board.

After buying one of the other sharpeners that turned out to be a dude, I said I'd just buy one of each and see which one works the best since they're all fairly affordable. This one wins by a mile. The 2mm lead is needle sharp with almost no effort. It opens easy to dump the lead bits, and the blades are removable with a screwdriver if you break a tip. Out of all of them this is also the smallest so you can hold it in your offhand while you sketch. Also one of the cheapest. Why it's so hard to find a good 2mm sharpener I'll never know, but this one is the bee's knees. I've never seen a point so sharp!

Like the design and ease of use. Also like the minimal packaging. Very nice to use.

Excellent lead point sharpener for soft lead

I need a small lead pointer to fit into my pencil bag. The ones I have were way too large. It was smaller than I thought. An That was a good thing. It sharpens the lead very nicely. It can accommodate Two different sizes of lead. 2 mm and I believe 2.5mm. But I don't have the latter size, to test it out on. It's small, Does it job very well, and it is very portable I highly recommend this product.

I bought two of these 6 or 7 years ago to sharpen my 2mm colored lead pencils. They preform wonderfully. I just recently purchased another one because mine weren’t preforming as well as I wanted them too. Love this little gem. If you use the June Gold or the Crayola Twistables you absoutley need this!!

I only had a sharpener whose grindings fell onto the table, waste basket, etc. What a joy to find one that provides two sharpening angles and the grindings are collected to dispose of at a later time!!! Perfect!!
