The boxes are perfect, I was going to make two boxes out of copper, but I quickly found out that would make them far too heavy. So I found these, they are constructed of a very light wood,, I feel. That I can use as much. Copper to make it sturdy. The boxes themselves are going meme this project thank you .

... the question is do I stain it? Quite nicely constructed. Space restrictions mean the larger size is too big for the space I have available I may have to buy a second item to take all my shoe care products - probably split Tan and Brown from Blue and Black. I am waiting for the delivery of a FootMatters Shoe Shine Valet Box, which should sit on top of this item, to complete my shoe care station. I could see this box having many other uses and as delivered has potential as a present. It would be good if it were available in a 35 x 40 x 15cms size with the handle cut out turned through 90degrees. Which would take all my shoe care products and cloths.

Excellent, good value for money, very well made box that you can decorate however you wish and use for a variety of reasons. We just varnished it for our use. Would make a fabulous memory box, you could decorate for a wedding or birth of baby keepsake box…possibilities are endless. Very pleased with it.

Simple and does the job! Rather small but its good if u wanna fit it on a shelf. This is how it looks on a shelf designed for book height.

It's a nice box but it will need a coat of paint & or a varnish, it'll definitely need a couple of coats of varnish for it to last a while! It's smaller than expected but at the same time that weren't a completely bad thing if that makes sense? As in taking up room/floor space. One of the quick pics provided with this review was of the box shortly after delivery with a few art supplies stored in it but I've since bought another as it's storage size just wasn't adequate enough for my art supplies. It's a nice box but I think for what it is & that's a few thin plain untreated pieces of wood slotted together it's a few quid too much but 'Hey Ho' hey. Another pic provided is of them painted & varnished, I had a great time with them & went to town painting these. It's a nice little box really when all's said & done.
