This is a great little pump. Has loads of pressure behind it and has not failed so far. The only issue i have is finding a way to make the pipe stay on the output. The little sod keeps popping off :) Other than that its really good. The build quality is impressive. I got a spray attachement stuck on the top once, i honestly thought it would break when i forced them to part ways but the pump held its ground and refused to break. I definately would recommend this for any system that requires a small but efficient pump.

Bought to replace a noisy pump ,very quiet and a good price and a small footprint

Impressive for size. Replaced a maxi jet mj 500 with this mj 1000 in my atami wilma and is probably overkill. Should of gone for the mj 750 but as I have changed tto clay pebbles and made my own ring drippers I needed a little more pressure. Very decent movement of water for a tiny pump. I now fully trust these pumps and would definitely recommend.

The MJ1000 pump arrived in distorted packaging made from a black bin liner. Upon unwrapping the outer packaging, I immediately noticed that the product had been opened previously and that the misshapen box was held together with cellotape. The pump itself is faulty, making an awfull rattling noise and one of the rubber feet is missing. I am sick of Amazon supplying faulty products. Why should I spend my valuable time returning items. This is now the second consecutive item that has arrived damaged. A am now considering invoicing Amazon for my time spent on returns.

I ordered this pump thinking it was a new mj1000 pump.and I turn I received a aquarium systems pump instead . Now I'm sure it's a good pump.but it's not what I was after as the new pumps are outstanding quality and are bullet proof .so off to local shops tomorrow as there the same price
