Lights turn on by walking near them.
These bulbs are so helpful to have placed in areas around your home. They are motion sensitive to come on automatically and remain on briefly so as to be energy efficient without searching in dark areas for the light switch to turn on. Wonderful technology & inexpensive.

Great light and motion bulb
I needed a light for my garage door opener. It was over $150 installed. Inserted this bulb in my garage socket and for less than $5 it works perfectly. Lights only when it is dark and there is motion and goes off automatically. I have the bulb that lights each night on our lamppost and turns off at the first light. Saved me buying a new sensor. Inexpensive, easy to install.

Motion light bulb
The bulb was very easy to install. It does detect motion after dark. BUT 1. The object has to be VERY close, about 10 feet away. 2. I needed a socket extender so the top bubble of the light bulb could protrude past the light fixture, & not block the tip. Works "OK".

Actually works great
We have a hallway where everyone forgets to turn the light off, this was perfect for that situation. It always turns on when the hall is too dark, and the lighting is great.

Virtually useless
The PIR detection range of these is so short that they’re pretty much useless. Don’t activate until you’re about 5 feet away making them useless for a porch light

Great lights
We installed on both our side and front porch. Excellent light bulbs. Will pick up any motion.

It's bright andights the driveway well. But not very sensitive. You have to be about 5 ft from it before it comes on. We bought it as a way to scare off crooks after one of our cars was broken into. The cars are not able to get close enough for the light sensor to trip.
