Great lanterns!
I searched long and hard for the perfect lighting for our covered porch. We couldn’t be happier. The type of bulbs you choose is the kicker and will determine the look you want. I suggest using 40 watt bulbs because everyone agrees that the 60 watt bulbs are too bright unless you have a dimmer switch.

In my opinion these are over priced because the cord is about 4 inches long and you must supply your own plug, which I knew.

I like the design of this fixture, especially with a separate “wood” background that I think is really cool.As long as the existing wires on the box location you plan to install, is clean and clear with good power…installation should be quite simpleThey’ve included instructions that are not instructions but specs and advice. I would have liked a few illustrations, and some actual direction on specific installation instructions. Very poor execution on that. It does state to hire a professional electricianThe glass is decently thick and sturdy. The lantern itself is a thickish metal that appears vintage as does the overall lookIt seems as though it would hold up outside fairly well.On thing I don’t like is this oil bronzed top that doesn’t go with anything at all. Makes it seem like a Frankenstein fixture.Personally, I wish the top decorative piece was just black like the rest.I still give 5 stars because for the quality vs cost there is good value in this product
