This hopper is excellent quality & looks perfect in my country cottage kitchen.

Looks really good in kitchen as well as being very useful potato storage

Very small with an ill fitting lid and overpriced not at all as I had imagined to be from the picture at point of ordering and yes I probably could have checked the dimensions but the picture made it look larger and more robust hey ho

Have lined mine with black cotton material, this eliminates all light and the potatoes last ages and don't sprout !

Onion's are now stored and I can see how many I've got whenever I need. ADHD hacks make life easier, you need to be able to see everything at a glance whenever you remember. This handy basket also means I'm always using the oldest onions first and keeps them dry, perfect.

I am using this basket for potatoes. It looks really attractive on the work top. I always got really annoyed with where to store my potatoes. Now I don't have to bother I just tip them into the basket. The basket holds a good 5 kilos with room for some onions too. GREAT PURCHASE.

In my opinion, this item is about as much use as a chocolate tea pot when it comes to potato storage. I know it is advertised as storage for onions, but to fair I see no difference between those hoppers marketed for potatoes and those marketed for onions.. Very attractive item but and was disappointed to find my potatoes going green very quickly. I have not sent it back but am giving it to charity as someone may find it useful as a decorative feature or a stage prop where artificial veg is used.
