These glasses are perfect for those "one cocktail" cocktails. They are elegant, yet sturdy. My oversized cocktail stemware is heading for Goodwill.

These might be smaller than the fishbowl-size things that pass as martini glasses these days, but they're the right size for traditional "two-shot" martinis. They feel heavier and more solid than some glasses I bought years ago, but then thos glasses mostly broke because they were so thin. These feel like I"ll be able to keep them for a while.

I got this set not because I need more glasses that are in the shape of this V-cocktail, modern martini style, but because their volume marking is more near a modern cocktail spec than these huge trendy 12 oz coupes. I’m an amateur bar-pretender who likes to make drinks for his friends at my home bar. Very often, a normal cocktail recipe will not even close to fill those modern huge glasses, and it looks like the glass dwarfs the drink in presentation to the guest--or that the drink is already half gone.So for a precise fill that is fairly close to the rim, these do the job so well. They are simple but they do have a slight design element in the interesting flare where the stem meets the bowl. It creates a subtle ripple effect upward through the glass in the light, in a way where less means more.I love that they come packaged in that pearl cotton foam; makes the original packaging easy to store and stack with no worries about the condition of the glassware. When you have a stupidly large glass collection, it’s hard to find space to store glassware outside of the box, so you need to be able to stack in well-protected gear—I’ll leave this set of 6 in their original stuff.Occasionally on a glass there will be an imperfection, like, say, a bubble bump on the lip, which I’ve got a shot of here. These are nearly unnoticeable, but that takes them down from a 5 for me to about a 4.4, which unfortunately rounds to a 4 here.All in all, I’m happy to add this set to my collection. I’ve added a pic of a recent sip at my bar so that you might judge their presentation impact for yourself. At a refined volume, and a subtle design, with quiet simplicity, I think you’ll enjoy them.

Loved the packaging they came in. No breakage possible! Very sturdy glassware that will last a long time!
