Simple Freshness for Complex Subjects
I wouldn't have believed that "another" book about Karma received a 5 star review, but for the price tag - why not take a chance. Now, every time I log in to loan my Kindle book to someone, I end up canceling immediately because the thought of not having it available is simply unacceptable. I have read a ridiculous amount of motivational, inspirational, self-help related books and stories, and I'll summarize why this is now a new favorite:1. Complex but simple - I LOVE the way this book gives simple messages that stir "aha" moments, and then bounces them off complex messages that I have read many times before. Fresh takes on static theories - amazing.2. Simple but complex - Even if I already have a lot on my mind, I can read a few pages of this before bed without taxing my preoccupied brain and still feel moved on a level I didn't think I had the energy for.Of course, I don't expect everyone to have the same reaction to this book that I have had, but I would absolutely gift it to others. Even if you only find a few sentences to bond with - I think that in life, sometimes it only takes a few simple sentences to get us through a few major storms.

A really good read!!
Just finished reading this book and the really nice quality of it was the print font was larger than normal which made it more enjoyable to read. The title of the book pretty much sums up the topic however the twelve laws are discussed chapter by chapter in layman terms with great real to life stories and situations. No heavy religious beliefs are being presented here, just a good book to explore Karma and how it effects you and your surrounding life.I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking knowledge the world of Karma!!!

Profound realizations
This book was everything to me. I have been going through a particularly rough time being a nurse during covid, and my mindset has (unbeknownst to me) become quite blah. Literally every single page led to some sort of profound realization for me. I just finished it yesterday and might restart it tomorrow to really absorb all of the greatness. All thanks to Doe! Can’t wait to dig more into karma related pieces. :)

Book 1:Karma is a keeper!
I really enjoyed reading this book. I really wanted to know what karma was other than it being "a bitch" as it's often said, and the meaning was deeper than I thought. The author defined it as not something that's good or bad nor right or wrong. Karma is an understanding of our thoughts and actions, hence cause and effect. The author gives many examples that deal with real life situations that aren't very challenging but are very practical. I'm a student of New Thought on a life long journey of metaphysics which are very much aligned with karma. In New Thought "what you resist, persist" lends way to the Law of Attraction (which the author notes), and for the language of Karma it's "what you focus on increases". Like one reviewer said, the information may be things that I already know having been in 12 Step Support groups and being a New Thought student but overall this book is a keeper, if only to help me stay on track and adhere to the continued development of my spiritual principles. But I do want to point out, I would like to "understand" Karma when I'm in the trenches of life on life's terms and/or when I have an outright clash with someone. What do I do then? Say an affirmation? I don't think so. After I shared my insights on this book with a friend for example, she asked me how can she stop giving/lending her sister money who is very unmanageable. She kept saying that she wouldn't give her sister another dime but I told her to stop saying that because what she put her "focus on increases" (the author). So then my friend said "how do I stop doing it?" In one 12 Step program they'd say "if you don't pick up, you won't use" or this author would have my friend examine her "belief system" but that could be a while and her sister begs frequently! I want to understand Karma when people are in the emotional grip of a problem like my friend and get direction on what she should do. Oh, it's easy to say what to do when you're not the person in the situation and as the old adage goes "it's easier said than done". Perhaps this will be addressed in Book Two or I could tell my friend to seek professional help concerning her belief system. Nevertheless, this book can be used as a precursor to your situations/problems before they occur or in hindsight. Not bad for the price. Four (4)Stars!

I bought the book after reading the reviews and was pleasantly surprised by it. It made a lot of sense and opened my eyes to a lot of things that had happened and was still happening in my life. I definitely believe “you reap what you sow now”.
