Due to the Arthritis that I suffer with it makes the simple task of opening a jar a complete nightmare and a painful experience. Thanks to this little gadget I no longer have to suffer when opening tins and jars, etc. It's also adjustable so it will fit most jars you have in your kitchen. You don't even have to hold the jar or the opener the way they have designed this. I think it's a very clever design, as the outer part of the opener clamps around the jar, whilst the inside bit continues to move inwards until it has gripped the lid. You just press the button until the clamps move into place and then you just let go of the button and leave the jar just sitting on the worktop without holding the jar either. It then twists by itself and hey presto the jar is open! It's very impressive indeed when seeing it for the first time like I was.This is a nice solid build and the way it is shaped makes it so easy to hold it as your hand naturally curves around it. It only takes two AA batteries and it won't break the bank at just under £20, but the pain relief you get is priceless. Definitely worth having in the cupboard if you suffer with Arthritis, such as I do.

I bought this product as sometimes I find difficult to open some jars. The electric jar opener looked big at the beginning but after used a couple of times I realised the size is good as some jars are big too. The product it is easy to use and open the jars quicker than expected. Quick delivered.

I bought it as a present for my mum who was struggling with opening jars. She said she is happy with it. It's very easy to use and it actually works. I would buy one for myself if it was a bit cheaper.

It’s not exactly easy to use at the moment. Have broken arm so trying to manoeuvre into place is not easy.

A very useful handy product, specially for people with arthritis or weak, it does all the work for you in opening the jars.
