I love, LOVE this top and base coat duo. Both have a beautiful consistency. The top is nice and thick but not so thick that you have to worry about air bubbles. The base is probably the thickest base coat I have seen, which I love because it doesn't flood cuticles at all. I haven't had any lifting when using the base coat and no chipping with the top coat. I use fake tanner and havent noticed any staining either, I'm not sure if its advertised as stain resistant, but this is just something I've noticed. The top coat is so glossy and wet looking once cured, it really is a phenomenal top coat, especially for the price. These have made it to my top drawer in my nail table, which is where all of the products I really like go. I love that they're both BIG bottles and the packing looks nice and sleek. I will be buying several more of these so I don't run out. It being HEMA free is a plus! These compete with all of the high end and Korean top and base coats I have. I've actually been reaching for this more than my Jin.B and Young Nails. Love these so much.

This nail gel is honestly the best I've ever tried! After trying out several brands, I can confidently say that this one goes on flawlessly and lasts for so long. Plus, it’s budget-friendly and doesn’t have that harsh chemical smell — and the topcoat leaves a gorgeous glass-like shine. I absolutely recommend it — a perfect 10 out of 10!

Just used this today and so far, so good. Haven't noticed any itching or burning yet. I don't think the color polish I used was hema free so there could be a possibility it might still happen. I'll know by tomorrow if it flares up and I'll do an update in a couple of days if it doesn't. I've been looking for something for a long time that could help with my allergic reaction to gel polish and I hope that this hema free polish will work. Both the base and top coat went on smoothly and was easy to use. I waited a couple of seconds before curing so the top coat could level out the brush stokes and it did great. UPDATE: I still ended up getting an itchy bumpy rash on my fingers the very next day. I don't think the color polish was hema free so I'm going to try some hema free color polish with the hope that the rash will not happen. It's a bummer because I love gel polish.

I love Gellen products, just know that the peelable base coat in this set is (as it says) very peelable. If you do not seal the edge of your nail with the top coat, any lift will lift the whole nail paint right off the nail with hardly any effort. I switched back to their old base coat which works perfectly. I'm just not a fan of the peelable, as all my nail paint had lifted off within 1 day. So just be aware. The top coat is great, but the base is too peelable for me.

I never write reviews. Ask Amazon 😂 But I have to on this product. One customer raved at the size of the bottle compared to most polishes and they were correct. The base coat does leave a very slight residue. However, when you apply the top coat immediately afterwards you get a perfectly smooth finish. Both the base and top coats are not too thick and brush on very well. There is no tackiness after curing. AND the gel is cured all the way. No surprises like with most gels. I’m a metalsmith and my nails take a beating. Gloves aren’t always an option when working with tiny gemstones. I was able to go straight to my work after doing my nails and they look just as good today. Totally impressed with this product. It surpasses all name brands I’ve used. I was not expecting this for such a low priced product. Great job Gellen!!

I have very sensitive nails, but wanted to get me nails done and this product works so well. I enjoy using this, to help ensure that my nail beds are not going to be suffering from any artistic nail adventures I decide to try. The thickness of the peelable base is not too much. It does have some residue after curing under the lamp, but nothing that won't be covered by your nail polish. I feel that it was a really good value for my money. The base lasts a good amount of time, depending on how rough you are with your hands. With my work out in the yard, I can get it to stay for a week and a half.
