'MORE 'MAGICAL' MEMORIES FROM THE 'JACKIE' MUSIC-SERIES'
'Jackie' a magazine that disappeared over 20 years ago, however the 'tag' goes on, the 'Jackie' Music-Seriesa frequent visitor to the Compilation-Scene.The track-listings as usual largely from the 70's era though one or two are indeed from the early 80's, manywill glance at this and see many of the tracks describable as a little 'teeny' ...however, back in the 70's quitea few of today's music buying public were indeed 'teens'For me, glancing through the 3-CD Collection, i see memories, i see several out and out classic 'pop' numbers, along with a measure of songs one may not be so keen on.I believe that those of us that enjoyed the 70's music-scene will be happy to check this one out.......of courseas is always the case many of the major artists of that time are not on-board.....though many great names arealong with their memorable hits. Some of the great music to be found on this release includes - 'The Jackson 5' - 'I Want You Back'......'Boney M'- 'Rivers of Babylon' (many will remember 'Brown Girl In The Ring' which made this release a Double 'A')......'Gilbert O'Sullivan' - 'Get Down'......'Dr Hook' - 'A Little Bit More'......and the catchy 'Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep'by 'Middle of The Road'......just a few of the memorable hits to be found upon disc one......and on disc two......'T.Rex' - 'Get it On' (Marc Bolan's music certainly livened things up back then)......'Rod Stewart' - 'You Wear it Well'(one of my favourite Rod Stewart songs)......'Julie Covington' - 'Don't Cry for me Argentina'......'10cc' - 'DreadlockHoliday'.......and......'Johnny Nash' - 'I Can See Clearly Now'......just a few of the memorable tracks to be found upondisc two......on disc three......'Elton John and Kiki Dee' - 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart'......'Chairman of the Board' -'Give Me Just a Little More Time'......'Minnie Riperton' - 'Lovin' You' (what a great vocal range)......'Donna Summer'- 'Love's Unkind'......and......'Tubeway Army' - 'Are Friends Electric'......again just some of the great memories to befound among disc three's listings.............I have simply highlighted a few tracks from each of the three CD's fromthis collection to offer a feel of what's on-board......in truth there were many more worthy of a mention. For me, it's all about the memories that come back listening to compilations such as this.......worth checking out.

jackie & 70's memories
Disc 1 is my favourite does cheer me up on the slow drive to work a treat! The Showaddywaddy track Under The Moon of Love has been speeded up its bad. As always I do find I have skip a few tracks. So not such a high score.

Jackie 70s annual
Yet another really good collection of songs and artists nearly as interesting as the comic used to be. A real blast from the past.
